2008 is rapidly coming to an end. What is the status of the resolutions you made last January first? Yea, me too, but guess what? There’s still plenty of time to be divine by 2009! A realistic weight loss eating plan, a few minor lifestyle changes, and a back-to-basics exercise plan can have you crossing off those 2008 resolutions at warp speed!

The magic key to weight loss is consistency over time! Follow your plan over a long period of time and you will reach your goal. So, as a first step, find a realistic weight loss plan that you believe you can stick to and begin today! It doesn′t really matter which one you choose as long as it appeals to you. Burning more calories than you consume is imperative. This easy equation will show immediate results on your bathroom scale!

Will you choose the healthier route and consume low-calorie options from the major food groups in smaller portions, or will you choose a “drastic diet” designed for rapid weight loss? That’s a decision that you’ll get to make, but make it carefully. Whichever route you go, you must believe that you can stick to it. That’s what will make the difference! Start by purging your kitchen of unhealthy food items and replenish it with foods that will help you reach your goal!

There are a few other tips that will help you look divine by ‘09. Try to break the soda habit, or at the very least, drastically limit your consumption! Even diet soda does nothing good for your health. Make water your main source of hydration and save all sweet drinks for special occasions. While you’re at it, limit your alcohol consumption between now and the New Year celebration! Alcohol slows weight loss and lowers your defenses when it comes to making wise food choices.

To reach your goal, you’ll want to limit the amount of sugar and sodium you consume as well. Too much sugar consumption is linked to health risks such as diabetes. Not only does it provide no nutritional benefit, but also the more you eat, the more you crave! Sodium, on the other hand, is linked to high blood pressure and makes you retain fluid. Try to substitute-reduced sodium products or add other seasonings to add flavor.

No plan of improvement would be complete without discussing activity! To be divine in ‘09, you’ve got to simply burn more calories than you consume. Formal exercise in the way of cardio training, strength training, and flexibility training is ideal. Cardio burns the most calories but strength training lays the foundation for lean muscle mass and a monster metabolism! Sweating and huffing and puffing are a necessity! If you simply aren′t going to do that, then you must look for ways to be more active in your daily routine.

If you follow these simple steps for the remainder of 2008, you will be simply divine by 2009! Start the New Year as a stronger, happier, healthier you!

Like the belly dancing that is done in Egypt and Turkey it has been added to the entertainment found on television and on the stage. It is sometimes referred to in Lebanon as Oriental Dance.

For Lebanese culture this form of dance holds the same regard as ballet and opera in European countries. It is a graceful and passionate dance that often brings tears to the eyes of those who view it. The music is a most often based around the artists of Egypt.

The Future of Lebanese Belly Dancing

Lebanon is a country in turmoil. This makes the future of this dance very uncertain. It is a moneymaker for the people of Lebanon, but the Islamic rule in the country does not favor its practice. Even more the younger Lebanese culture views belly dancing as an old fashioned and outdated art form.

The Form of Lebanese Belly Dancing

The hip movements used in Lebanese belly dancing is similar to that used in other belly dancing methods. The focus of attention is on the stomach area and the foot movements are not considered important. The upper body including the arms and hands are used in a snakelike fashion throughout the dance routine.

The Costumes

The belly dancing in Lebanon is a celebration of women. It is an expression of women’s creativity and passion. The beauty of a woman is the focal point to a Lebanese belly dancing routine. The costume is similar in its components to other belly dancers. They typically wear a bra top, skirt and belt on the hip. They will sometimes use finger cymbals while they perform their dance.

The Power of Women

The emphasis of Lebanese belly dancing is on the power of women. It displays the grace, agility and beauty of women in all the movements. It has been performed as a fertility ritual in certain circumstances. Men will participate at times, but for the most part is a dance for women. The culture of the Middle East is displayed in this graceful and beautiful art form.

INTRODUCTION: A vaginal yeast infection is usually caused by a fungus called Candida albicans which is normally found in small amounts in the vagina. While it is certainly not a pleasant experience, there’s no need to spend too much time worrying.

Yeast infection is also more common after menopause because of declining estrogen levels, which thin the vaginal walls. It is not normally spread by sexual contact.

The only time Candida Albicans becomes a problem is when the conditions in its environment are such that it starts to grow and reproduce at an elevated rate. When this happens a vaginal yeast infection is the result. If the yeast infection is left untended, some MD’s believe that the Candida Albican will continue to reproduce at an alarming rate. They believe that if the vaginal yeast infection is left untended that it will bring about an imbalance in the bodies natural bacterias and the person’s immune system will become involved, in short the person will grow sicker and sicker.

SYMPTOMS: Signs of a yeast infection are similar to a number of other conditions, including bacterial vaginosis (a bacterial infection of the vagina), trichomoniasis (a sexually transmitted infection), and contact or allergic dermatitis (a skin reaction to an irritating or allergic substance).

They can frequently include intense and unbearable itching, rash, a burning sensation, vaginal discharge, and pain while having sexual intercourse. Your physician will ask about your symptoms and examine you. He/she may also collect samples of cells from areas were you are having symptoms, such as the mouth or vagina.

TREATMENT: Treating vaginal yeast infection may include a topical cream or tablet; most are applied inside the vagina at bedtime with an applicator. Treatment durations vary according to the formulation; one, three, and seven-day treatments are equally effective. Women with recurrent infections should use a longer course of treatment for infections, between 10 to 14 days for a topical (cream or suppository) medication or fluconazole 150 mg by mouth with a second dose 72 hours later.

Treating with antibiotics can lead to eliminating the yeast’s natural competitors for resources, and increase the severity of the problem. Treating the disease will not help or cure sexually transmitted infections such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, or trichomonas.

CONCLUSION: Let your doctor help you be sure that yeast infection is the problem and, if it is, to determine why it’s not responding to treatment. If you feel that your condition is immune to the over-the-counter solutions you are using, you can try using a new product, or go to your MD for a prescription treatment.

A good home treatment for vaginal yeast infection is to elevate your immune system through proper diet and complete sleep. Probably the best way to deal with a yeast infection is prevention. This may be a major “well duh”, but one of the great ways to treat a yeast infection is to wash yourself thoroughly at least once daily.

Everyone wants their body to look great all the time but when age sets in and we get older our bodies develop imperfections called cellulite. Cellulite is formed when the toxins and fats we consume make their way into our connective tissue. They will get trapped there and harden leaving you with pockets that look like dimples showing on the outside of your thighs. Once people learn that they have it, they can look for ways to get rid of cellulite.

One method people first use to dispose of nasty cellulite is with lotions and potions. This method does NOT work at all except to drain your pocket book of money on a useless product. There is no quick treatment for cellulite and the only way to successfully remove these ugly looking fat pockets is with cellulite exercise.

Cellulite exercise uses weights to target the fat within your problem areas. These work outs will help you increase your circulation which helps carry the fat and toxins from your system. It also helps firm up your muscles in the problem areas, which smooths out the unsightly bumps and dimples. You will be able to notice the effects by observing your skin tightening and watching the bumps disappear.

One great method that you need to apply, before you begin your exercise routine, is to massage your problem areas. This boosts your blood circulation which is needed to aid your body in expelling the bad toxins from your system. This is also the best fat removal vehicle that your body can provide. The best and easiest way to do this is by using a body brush while you are taking a shower or bath.

One exercise that you need to try is to do some leg lifts while down on your hands and knees. You need to start off by getting down on the floor on your hands and knees and then to lift one leg up until it is parallel with your back. Hold this position for five seconds and then place your leg back down on the ground. You should try to accomplish 3 full sets that consist of 15 repetitions for each leg.

Another exercise you can execute is to do some more leg lifts but this time you will be lying down on your stomach. Simply lie down on your stomach and rest your hands under your head. Next you will need to lift your leg up and hold it in that position. Then you will take your foot and rotate it three or four times. After that, you should then rest it back on the floor. You should try to aim at conducting 3 sets of this exercise with 15 repetitions for each leg.

A further exercise you can execute is to tighten your leg and buttock muscles while you are sitting on a chair. To do this you will need to sit on a stable chair that has no rollers. Then you will want to place a pillow between your legs. Your goal will be to try and squeeze the pillow as hard as you can for one minute with your leg muscles and also with your buttock muscles. You should try to aim at conducting 3 sets of this exercise with 5 repetitions for each leg.

Many older adults, when they find out that they now have cellulite, always try to cover it up because it is so ugly and embarrassing. They will often try to find a quick cure that will rid them of this bulging fat in the form of potions and lotions but these are ineffective and do not work. The only way you can successfully get rid of cellulite is to increase your circulation to carry out some of the toxins and to do some exercises that will flatten out your skin. Curing cellulite and getting back to the body you love is as simple as spending a few minutes each day working on the problem areas.

There are many reasons that some people will have moles removed, they may not like the way it looks, or they just want them gone from their bodies.

The two methods that are used to remove moles are by cutting off the mole and then put stitches or by burning the moles using a tool. The scientific names for these methods are excision and stitching, and excision and cauterization.

Some people have tried using lasers to get rid of their moles, however this is not usually the chosen method because the laser light does not penetrate as deep as need be to remove moles that are deeply rooted in the skin. Many dermatologists will prescribe the excision method with stitches or without, usually dependent on whether the mole is deep and if the outcome is positive.

There is a confusion between the birthmarks and the moles. Mole is always thought to be a dark spot or the allergies on the skin. The procedure used to remove moles is very Different from the removal of birthmarks or keratoses or some abnormal blood vessels. Hence the doctors will disagree with the misconception of birthmarks and the moles.

Moles may appear due to many reasons. They may be heriditary or may develop at the time of birth or with the age. In some people the size the colour the look and the development of the moles are dependent with exposure to the sun.

The risky part about mole removal is that there is some risk that range from infections and allergy, as well as some nerve damage. It is very important to get a dermatologist who has the right skills needed to help you with this kind of removal.

Other risks may depend on which part of you is being treated and the other method would be removed. One of these risks may be that after you have had a mole surgically removed, you may be left with an unsightly scar. Your surgeon will give you a general idea of what type of mole you have and where, before the procedure is performed.

The first step implied to remove moles is to clean the area in and around the mole, next would be to inject anesthetic to the mole and letting the area to become numb. Depending on the power of the anesthetic it would take 15 to 20 minutes for the area to get numb. There will be a drape that will be placed on you depending on the type of surgical method and the size of the mole. Later the mole is shaved by the surgeon using the scalpel. Then the mole area is burnt using an instrument. This burning step may result in bleeding hence a solution is used to clean the area and covered with bandages. An antibiotic is given to heal the wound resulted after the surgical procedure is complete.

By the time the wound is healed you might be addicted to the antibiotics and the bandages which are necessary to avoid infection, along with this you have to clean the wounded area every day with diluted hydrogen peroxide or with water. After the healing of wound you will be free from moles and go on with your life.
