1) Limit your intake of food: If your goal is to lose weight, you will need to be aware of the amount of calories you eat every day. If you think that you can lose weight and eat whatever you want…you are dreaming. Burn more calories than you eat and you will be a step closer to your weight loss goal.
2) Weight training: Weight training is probably one of the most important aspect to help you lose weight. The metabolism get faster by regular weight training and you then burn more fat when you are at rest.
3) Limiting the starchy food: Food like potatoes, rice, bread and pasta are good to give you energy. When your diet is compose of to many of these foods the body will deposit the excess calories as fat. Especially if their is a lack of activity.
4) Do cardio in the morning: Try to do your cardio on an empty stomach. By doing this you start tapping in your fat reserves faster than doing cardio at other times during the day.
5) Drink 8 to 12 cups of water a day: Water as many benefits. It is essential for weight loss and help to flush out dangerous toxins. It also as no calories, so instead of drinking fruit juice or pepsi, drink water. You should aim for at least 8 to 12 cups a day.
6) Train with a group of people: Training with a group can get you very result. You will be able to help and motivate each others in attaining your mutual goal. I recommend you join an exercise group of your choice like pilates, yoga or aqua fitness.
7) Have a specific goal: It will be easier to lose weight if you have a specific goal. i recommend you write down on a piece of paper what kind of physique you would like, be very specific. Write the actual numbers you want. Like “26 inches waist within 12 months”. Read this piece of paper every day and you will start to focus more on your goal.
