Building Muscle Tips - A Wide Range Of Movement Is Better

What kinds of exercises should we do to build muscle? You wanna learn to kick harder? Is bench press going to do the job? Nope, not likely! Hey, bench is good exercise, but it’s not going to get you a black belt. What sort of exercises do we need to do if we′re trying to get bigger muscles?

OK, Let’s stop and think. What’s the best thing do to if your goal is to put on muscles quickly. Weight training. And the best exercises to do are the one’s that do the job in the least amount of time! They’re called comprehensive exercises. I see no good reason to do lots of smaller exercises when I can get the same (if not better) job done with fewer bigger movements.

It takes about a 1 hours time (probably closer to 45 minutes) to warm up, workout and cool down before our body starts turning against itself. The last thing we want is our body burning muscle fibers for energy. So keep the workout short, and intense so we can get as much done as possible in this short time. What’s the secret? The comprehensive exercise.

The Best Exercise List

These are the best exercises you can do to to work out and gain muscle fast. When you do these movements, instead of smaller movements, you′ll workout your whole body in less time and make better gains.

# Standing Free weight Squats

# Flat Bench Press

# Stiff Deadlifts

# Standing Military Press

# Bent Rows

# Chin-Ups (if you can′t do chins, do Lat Pull Downs)

# Dips (if you can′t do full body dips do dips with your feet on a chair in front of you)

These last 2 exercises are great, but not 100% essential to stimulate massive muscle growth. You′ll get so much from the other exercises that you can do them later if you′re feeling especially energetic! They’re great substitutes for days when you′re bored with your workout, or you′re trying to stimulate more growth by changing it up a bit.

Do at least 3 workouts each week, and make sure you do squats during every workout. They’re the foundation of your body and they’re the largest muscles too. Working them out hard will stimulate your body to produce testosterone more efficiently.

On that note: WORK HARD. These exercises are POWERFUL. So don′t mess with them. Do the exercises and do them with intensity. Lift between 5-7 reps, and do 3 sets each. Lift as much as you can and get someone to spot for you if you′re not confident to start. But make sure you do the work yourself. No slacking!

Want to know the biggest secret in bodybuilding? Supplements are a scam, it’s HARD WORK that gets results. Work your body with big heavy exercises, and you′ll get big gains. If you want the best results get a fitness coach to motivate you. There’s no substitute for the advice of someone’s who’s been there before.

Warts - Are They Contagious?

INTRODUCTION: Warts are common, and are created by a viral infection, specifically by the human papilloma virus (HPV) and are contagious when in contact with the skin of other people. They grow very slowly and may take weeks or longer, in some cases, to develop and can be difficult to get rid of because the thick layers of skin makes it hard for drugs to reach the virus that causes them.

They come in many sizes, colors, and shapes and happen to people of all ages, but most often in children and young adults. They may also bleed a little, but if bleeding is significant or not easily stopped by light pressure, see a MD. Warts are normally harmless growths that often go away on their own within 2 years.

HPV: As stated previously viruses that produce these skin growths are called human papilloma virus (HPV). More than 100 kinds of HPV are known to exist. Although treatments can get rid of the growths, they do not remove the virus, so they can happen again after treatment. Genital warts are the most easily recognized symptom of an HPV infection, However only a small percentage of those infected will develop these genital skin growths.

Kids can pick up the virus from touching something someone infected has used, like towels and surfaces. Once cells have been invaded by the virus, a latency (quiet) period of months to years may occur. The latency period simply means the virus is in an incubation period so if you do develop a wart, you may never know where you came into contact with the virus.

They can also be seen in infants who have been delivered vaginally to mothers with HPV in their genital tracts; therefore, alternative methods of delivery should be considered.

TREATMENTS: Include the use of salicylic acid plasters, applying other chemicals, or one of the surgical treatments including laser surgery, electrosurgery, or cutting. One review of 52 clinical trials of various cutaneous applications concluded that topical treatments containing salicylic acid were the best, with an average cure rate of 75% observed with salicylic acid compared with 48% for placebo in six placebo-controlled trials including a total of 376 participants. This method generally takes three to six daily applications to be effective.

Like prescription cures, over-the-counter treatments often require numerous applications and are only necessary if the warts are problematic. Also, these are capable of destroying healthy skin as well as warts, so caution must be exercised by those attempting them without medical direction.

As there have been no controlled studies for most household remedies, it is impossible to know if warts that disappear after such applications do so because the treatment was effective, or because the growths often disappear due to the individual’s own immune system regardless of treatment.

Dermatologists are trained to use various kinds of treatments, depending on the age of the patient and the kind of wart. However, repeat applications at one to three week intervals are usually necessary. Since these skin growths are generally harmless, there may be times when these are not appropriate. Medical applications can always be used later if necessary.

CONCLUSION: Warts are non-cancerous skin growths caused by a viral infection in the top layer of the skin. They are usually skin-colored and feel rough to the touch, but they can be dark, flat and smooth and are passed from person to person, sometimes indirectly. In adults they often do not disappear as easily or as quickly as they do in children and since they don′t generally cause any problems, it’s not always necessary to have them removed.

Fireplace Creates Smoke in the Home

It is cold out there, out side of your home, and keeping warm is first on your mind. You should think about using your fireplace. A fireplace is a great start to warming the room you are in, even when you don’t have electricity in the rest of the home. A fireplace has many advantages.

You don’t have to think about smoke when you are using your fire place. There are many types of vents, stacks, and methods that are now available so that you can use your fire place without all the smoke you might other wise have in teh home. Think clean heat!

We are going to tell you about a few tips that you can use to have cleaner heat, without the worry of smoke in the home so you can enjoy your fireplace more often, and more freely than you have in the past.

Smoke can ruin many things in your home, besides your health. The smoke can ruin the carpeting, the smoke can ruin the drapes, and the smoke can even stain your cupboards or your ceilings as well.

Clean out that chimney if you have one. Every year, or at least every two years you should think about your chimney. Not only is this going to prevent smoke in the home, but it will keep all those ashes going up from catching fire or catching your roof on fire because of build up. Have a chimney sweep come in and check on your chimney.

Check the damper on the chimney. The air flow through the chimney should be adequate to allow the smoke to go out through the chimney. If the damper is closed, the smoke can’t escape the house.

Check what type of lumber, or wood you are using in the fireplace. Wood that is seasoned, that is dry will burn cleaner and with less smoke. This is wood that has been delivered to your home, that has dried over the course of the summer months, not wood that you have just cut.

Don’t burn wood in the fireplace that is treated. Treated wood is going to burn, give off all types of smoke, and it is going to smell really bad because of the chemicals that are in the wood.

If you have drafts in your house, this can cause smoke to go through the home, instead of out and up through the chimney. A door or window left open causing a draft in the wrong direction will cause smoke to enter the home, and ruin things in your home. Check the windows and doors nearest the fireplace to be sure.

Check the fire place for dead animals in the chimney, in the wood you are using, and in the fire place itself. It is hard to tell where mice and squirrels will hide when it gets cold outside, and checking for these little critters can make your fireplace useful, and smokeless at the same time.

Female Bodybuilding, Common Women’s Errors

How to do build beautiful female muscle? Many might say muscle is built by weight training, but that’s only part of the equation. The answer is weight training with the proper intensity, right form, and training just enough to stimulate growth. If you can identify the 6 common women’s bodybuilding errors you can tweak your training program and successfully make satisfying muscle gains.

1. I’ve seen too many people make the mistake of not challenging themselves enough with muscle building. Granted, some women train hard, but few challenge themselves each training session. When progressive overload is used and maximal force is applied, muscle growth will occur.

2. Heavy compound exercises not employed in training would be another issue. Mulit-joint or compound exercises use all the muscles and joints in a specific area to execute a movement. Compound exercises are the backbone to any muscle building program. If you don’t include compound type of workouts in your fitness regime, you won’t be able to build muscle.

3. The third mistake that I see in muscle growth is being inconsistent. You will not be able to build up muscle by working out casually. You must make out a detailed plan and follow the schedule meticulously.

4. A program must be given enough time, or else it will prove to be a failure, which is a usual mistake. Patience is the key in any muscle building program. For making sure that your work on building of your muscles is being successful. you can log your workouts and then on visually seeing them you can asses the progress. This way you have the assurence that you are challenging your muscles every workout.

5. Many female bodybuilders make the mistake of expecting changes almost instantly. Modifications may be made, but will take time to transpire. When you see well-developed built ladies, they worked hard for that physique. They have worked really, really hard for that body. It is only observing appropriate training principles and avoidance of deficiencies common in female bodybuilding that can lead to robustly built physiques.

6. Training too frequently is also among the most common mistakes made by female bodybuilders. Don’t say you are not guilty of it because everyone has trained too much at one time or another. Muscle growth doesn’t take endless reps at the gym or doing a weight training marathon. The fact is, if you over train you will halt muscle growth.

Plastic Pollution And The Plight Of The Planet

By negligently discarding plastic items, especially plastic water bottles, fishing gear and plastic bags, people are unknowingly causing the deaths of millions of mammals, fish, birds and reptiles each and every year. We defile the face of the earth with plastic refuse creating waterway contamination.

Following the invention of plastic earlier this century, it has become a highly requested material used in a wide variety of unique and innovative applications. Plastic is used to manufacture, or market many of the items we use in daily life. The problem comes when we no longer want these items and how we dispose of them, especially the throwaway plastic material used for wrapping, packaging or shipping. Plastic is handy, lightweight and easily discarded. Too easily discarded.

Plastics are utilized because they are easy and inexpensive to manufacture, tough and long lasting. Unfortunately these same useful qualities make plastic a pollution problem. Inferior quality and low cost means plastic is readily discarded. Plastics take around 300 years to photo degrade. Its long life assures it survives in the environment for extended periods where it can do great harm. Because plastic does not easily decompose and requires high energy ultra-violet light to break down, the volume of plastic waste in the world’s oceans is rapidly increasing. Plastic is now found in virtually all the oceans and rivers of the world, even the most remote and once pristine.

American oceanographer Charles Moore says the amount of plastic pollution in the world’s oceans is so extensive it’s beyond cleaning up. A floating toxic plastic refuse dump double the size of Texas swirls in the waters of the Pacific ocean between San Francisco and Hawaii. There his crew found that the water contained six parts of plastic for every part plankton, with a fivefold increase in the amount of plastic between 1997 and 2007.

Annually approximately 500 billion plastic bags are used worldwide. That is an unconscionable amount of waste, so much that more than one million bags are used every minute and their impact on the planet is devastating. Plastic bags are only part of the problem. America alone, yearly produces in excess of 800,000 tons of plastic bottle pollution. Worldwide our precious planet is defaced and poisoned with more than 100 million tons of plastic pollution annually.

According to the California Costal Commission, over 80 per cent of refuse within our rivers and coastal waterways, most of it being plastic, originates on land rather than coming from boats.

Plastic affects marine wildlife in deadly ways: entangling creatures and by being consumed. Turtles are particularly devastated by plastic refuse. All seven of the world’s turtle species are already endangered or threatened for a multitude of reasons. Turtles become entangled in fishing nets, and many sea turtles have expired with plastic garbage bags in their stomachs. Studies indicate turtles mistake these floating semi-transparent bags for jellyfish and eat them. The turtles die an inhumane death from choking or from being unable to eat. A dead turtle found off the coast Hawaii was found to have more than 1000 pieces of plastic in its stomach including part of a comb, a toy truck wheel and lank of nylon rope.

There is great environmental concern about the effect of plastic trash on all marine mammals. These elegant creatures are already under threat for a variety of other reasons. Seal and whale populations have been decimated by unregulated hunting. A recent study concluded that in excess of 100,000 marine mammals expire needlessly each year from the lethal effects of plastic pollution alone.

Globally over 100 bird species are known to eat plastic particles. This includes 36 species found off the coast of South Africa. A recent study of blue petrel hatchlings at South Africa’s remote Marion Island showed that 90% of the chicks examined had plastic in their digestive systems, apparently fed to them accidentally by their parents. South African seabirds are among the worst affected in the world. Plastics remain in the birds’ stomachs, impeding digestion and causing starvation.

Scientific studies are not conclusive about how much plastic birds and fish are consuming, however scientists agree that plastic in seafood is likely to be unhealthy for people. Plastic is compared with toxic materials such as mercury. Plastic acts like a thirsty sponge when in contact with poisons such as PCBs, concentrating them at levels that are millions of time more than in seawater.

The ingredients in plastic have been linked to cancer and reproductive abnormalities. Bisphenol A, found in plastic water and beverage bottles, has been shown to iniate cancer in lab rats, to unbalance hormone levels and is associated with diabetes and obesity.

Scientists also voice concerns that the massive swirls of floating plastic could contribute to global warming by creating a dense shade canopy that makes it difficult for plankton to grow.

Let’s examine a few constuctive ways where together we can help heal the world. The crisis of plastic pollution demands urgent study and action. Business should be encouraged to reduce the amount of plastic used in packaging and to recycle. Plastic wrapping and bags should be required to carry a warning label advising of the dangers of plastic pollution and shoppers should be encouraged to use eco-friendly shopping bags of organic, natural materials or recycled plastic fibers. Write your law makers. Vote. The situation continues to worsen. We must take act.

Support re-cycling programs and promote environmental awareness in your local community. Be pro active in asking governments to make changes and consumers to rethink their attitudes. Set an example to your family, friends, fellow workers and neighbors. Volunteer for neighborhood clean up projects, be involved. Purchase products that minimize the amount of plastic packaging and inform store management why you are doing so. Together we can speak with a loud voice when we speak with our dollars.

Hydrate by drinking tap or carbon filtered water from a glass-lined reusable container. If you do purchase plastic bottled, dispose to the container properly. Recycle.

With the increase in environmental awareness, it has become painfully obvious that there is more that we can do to create a sustainable society. If every one of us would take a few tiny steps, make a few different choices and consciously consider our impact on the planet, there may be a way to restore the world to its original beauty and resources.
