Are you looking for an amazingly versatile hairstyle? Do you want something that is undetectable? If so, an interlock weave is perfect for you! Also known as tree braids, an interlock weave is a great strand-by-strand hair weaving method that uses cornrows as the foundation of the style.

Interlock weaves can be a little hard to understand at first, but with enough practice, you can create a beautiful weave that all your friends will ask you about. Interlocking gives you all the health of braids, but the look and feel of free-flowing hair.

The hair should be washed and conditioned thoroughly before beginning the style. Your first part will be in a circular direction around the perimeter of the head, and should be no more than 1 1/4” thick. This hair will be used to cover and blend with the weave, so you can cornrow this hair to get it out of the way.

Now you’re ready to start your interlock weave! Start by sectioning off a small piece of hair that is parallel to your cornrow. Start on one side of the part and make a small section that you will start your cornrow off with. Begin cornrowing the client’s hair in that same circular direction. Pinch off a small piece of extension hair from the pack and add this piece to the two outside strands of your braid.

Once you’ve done that, follow these instructions:

1. After you add the extension hair to the braid, cornrow just one more time.

2. Once you have cornrowed down once, remove a small section of the extension hair from the braid. Move it to the side or hold it out of the way with a butterfly clip.

3. Cornrow down once. Then, start all over again by adding the small piece of extension hair to the two outside strands of your braid.

4. Cornrow again and move a piece of the hair to the side.

5. Cornrow again and add your extension hair to the two outer strands.

Follow this pattern around the entire head. When you reach the top, you should have one long cornrow that covers the entire head and has extension hair flowing freely from the cornrow. Add extra extension hair to your cornrows when you reach the top of the head for a fuller look.

Braid the remaining hair and coil it into the cornrows. Be very careful and patient with the top; your goal is to make the top as flat as possible. Sew the braid into your existing cornrows for a secure hold. This can be challenging, but remember, practice makes perfect.

The last step in finishing your interlock weave is to remove the cornrows you created from the outer section, and using your fingers, work to blend the client’s hair in with the weave and cover any cornrows that are in sight.

We have always seen in the movies or television that a person can be “brainwash” and controlled. It has always spiked our curiosity whether such a situation can really occur to us where none of the thought or actions are our own. Yes, we have always wondered whether our actions can be controlled by others just be using hypnosis. These questions are actually two of the main driving force which propel people to want to know more about hypnosis.

The control of thoughts and actions of others falls under the study of subliminal hypnosis. Subliminal actually is derived from the Latin word “Limen” which means threshold or Limit. Therefore, subliminal means a state of awareness, which just lies below the level of consciousness. While under the subliminal hypnosis stage, a person conscious mind is not able of anything. The part of the mind, which is active, is the sub conscious mind. Thus, we talk about “awakening” the subliminal within us.

At first the subconscious is targeted, you are brought into a trance i.e. a state in between consciousness and sub-consciousness. Then a message is instilled by the hypnotist which will get imprinted onto your subconscious. The information will be there without your knowledge and will be acted upon only with the help of certain precise commands or signals. This is where the problem lies since the hypnotist may input unwanted commands which may not be favorable to you.

A drawback of the process is that the human brain may at times execute automatically the hypnotic state. Example of this can be given through the demonstration of hearing of one single voice when in a noisy crowd. Your subconscious cuts off all other sounds enabling you to listen to that one single voice that you want to hear. Focusing on that one particular sound or voice your subconscious is actually neglecting all the other voices. This is an instance of automatic execution of the hypnotic state.

Subliminal hypnosis has always been an area of great interest to the commercial world. The potential benefits that can be reaped by these corporations are indescribable. Imagine a situation where through advertisements, these marketing companies can actually persuade the consumers to mould their buying habits to suit these companies? In fact, these companies to plant subliminal messages into the print and broadcast media are spending huge sums of monies.

The surest way of combating these attempts by anyone is learning more about them. This process of learning will be of much help since then no one will be able to exploit or harm you and also you can try out the therapeutic value of it to your hearts content. Also learning and knowing more about it will help you overcome the fear factor and thus get you better equipped to stand against any such attack on your person.

best hair style for fine hair

Thinning or fine hair can be particularly difficult to style correctly. Going to the hairdressers can be a traumatic even in itself.

For guys, keeping the hair short is often the best option. Under no circumstances try to grow your hair long and hide your thinning hair. The last thing that will happen is the desired ‘covering up.

If you have a dark scalp dyeing hair dark helps to ‘camouflage′ the thinning and visa versa for lighter hair.

There are lots of hair shampoos and conditioners that add volume to thinning hair.

It is often best for women to have neck length hair cuts as hair that is too long emphasises the problem, as is similar to men.

A short bob cut works wonders for women with thinning hair, adding body, especially when used in conjunction with a layered hair cut. With the right cut thinning hair can be tranformed and the stressful visit to the hairdresser can become a much more pleasant experience.

When you are looking to remember things better than you have before, you’ll find that there are lots of different memory techniques that are people use to keep their memories from slipping away. Some of these photographic memory techniques can help you keep more information that you thought possible, and you’ll be able to remember things like where you left your keys, or what you were looking for when you walked into a room. These complaints are quite common, but you’ll find that you don’t have to worry about them again if you just keep a few techniques in mind.

Word association, list building and story-telling are a few of the most common photographic memory techniques developed to help people remember a list of words, such as a grocery list or a list of numbers, in specific order.

Memorization techniques are taught to everyone once they enter grade school and carrying those same photographic memory techniques through college and into adult life can help develop a better memory, to a point, but distractions can interrupt the process, causing the information to become scrambled or lost.

You need to understand that your brain is quite powerful, and that with a little bit more work, you will be able to get a lot more use out of it. When you are looking retain information and to recall it when necessary, you’ll find that you can use photographic memory techniques to make you proficient at this task.

Cramming Helps Short-Term Memory

Many people understand what is involved in cramming for tests, spending hours before a big test reading and rereading textual information that will be needed in the very near future. However, once the test they crammed for ends, few can recall any of the information memorized. With photographic memory techniques the focus is on learning the information as opposed to memorizing it, making recall at a later date possible.

Making the information into a rhyme or a song works well for many people as a way to remember information for later. This is because it is fun and having a “beat” for the information simply works better for the way our brains are wired. When the information cannot be recalled, thinking back to the tune or the beat will bring it all back.

It’s almost always easier to remember a song or a tune you make up than it is to remember dates or names.

Studies have yielded information suggesting that the various parts of the brain all work together in the process of memory like links in a chain. A distraction affecting one part of the brain disrupts the entire process. However, these photographic memory techniques help train your mind to work even when these interference would otherwise cause information to be lost.
