You have probably seen a wig before and didn’t even realize it. The art of wig making has been around for many centuries, and requires skill and practice to master. If you have ever purchased a wig, you may be wondering about the benefits of making your own wig. Often, store-bought wigs don’t look right or don’t fit correctly. Making your own custom wig gives you the ability to not only fit the head you are making the wig for, but it also lets you be as creative as you want when it comes to style and color.

There are many different kinds of wigs made from many different types of hair. A basic wig can be made from either synthetic or human hair and is normally made by a machine. Because of this, basic wigs normally aren’t of the highest quality. Wigs can also take many forms, including a toupee, which is a small wig that only covers a potion of the head, as well as hair pieces and lace wigs.

A lace wig is one of the most expensive and beautiful types of wigs that you can make or buy. They are made from a fine lace base and the hair is attached strand by strand onto the lace. The process of attaching the hair to the lace is called ”ventilation.” When completed properly, a lace wig is virtually undetectable, and the hair looks like it’s growing out from your scalp.

There are several products that you need to start making a wig. The first thing you will need is a mannequin head to complete the wig on. A mannequin head can be made of wood, Styrofoam, or a number of other materials. You′ll also need a wig cap, or lace, to serve as the base of your wig. A wig cap is higher quality than the netted cap you′ll find on store-bought wigs, and of course, lace is the highest-quality base.

When you have your materials, it’s time to pick out the hair that will be attached to form the wig. You want to shy away from hair made for braiding and weaving, and stick with either 100% human or 100% synthetic hair. Human hair has a more natural look and will be easier to work with when it comes to the process of making the wig.

You will also need additional tools, depending on the type of wig you are making. Most of these tools can be purchased at your local beauty supply store or online through a number of reputable distributors.

If you want to get into the art of wig making, here are some things to remember:

1. Wigs made of synthetic hair hold their shape in heat and humidity better than wigs made of human hair.

2. Use only products made especially for wigs on your new wig. Using normal shampoos, conditioners, and styling products will weaken the quality of your wig.

3. Wigs must be worn as close to the head as possible to achieve a natural look; however, doing so can cause the top of your head to sweat and the wig can come loose. To stop this, try using a powder (such as baby powder) that is cornstarch-based to absorb the excess moisture.

4. Putting a wig cap on before putting on a wig can help keep stray hairs from popping out of the sides of your wig.

5. Sometimes, wigs will be too large in some places, causing the wig not to fit tightly. If this happens to you, try using a small piece of wig tape on those areas.

Hypnosis can drive away negativity from your life and fill you with positive thoughts. If a person willingly co-operates with the hypnotist, the results of such hypnosis will surely show. However, it must be mentioned that for positive results, the aid of an expert hypnotist is not always required even self hypnosis is a great alternative, and there are many books and compact discs in the market which help you learn to hypnotize yourself.

In order for you to achieve your goals through hypnotism, one has to cooperate and work together with the hypnotist to achieve the desired results. You have to be completely willing to consider what the hypnotist suggests. If you implement completely the suggestions, this will only results in a successful outcome of your hypnotic session. You will be able to dispel all negativity and reinforce those with positive ones. This by its self will be an achievement.

There are many possible usages for hypnotism. Many had actually used hypnotism successfully to lose excess weight and control their diet. Others used it to help them get rid of unhealthy habits like smoking. Beside these, there are also some who used hypnotism to help them recall memories better and be more mentally alert. All this is possible because hypnotism deals directly with the subconscious mind. As such, almost anything is achievable with hypnotism so long as we are motivated and have the will to do it.

Hypnotism is effective because it goes right down to the root cause of the negativity of the individual. By interacting with the mind on a subconscious level, we can actually fathom out the reasons, which causes the bad habits in the first place. What happens during the therapeutic session is that, your negative emotions are reverted to positive emotions. When you become more positive, you will automatically become empowered. With empowerment, comes higher self-esteem. All this will lead to a better spiritual health for an individual in the end.

Despite all, one has to bear in mind that successful outcome of the hypnotic sessions is not solely dependent on following what you had read in books or just be listening to the DVDs tutorials. First of all, you must also give yourself time for your sub conscious mind to “imprint″ all the messages that you have been feeding it with. Secondly, You must also have the resolve and determination to change. If you lack these qualities, your sessions will not be fruitful.

Symptoms of stress are as different as there are people suffering from it.

Symptoms of stress can broadly be categorized into three classes: In most cases, stressed people experience a combination of symptoms from these three categories: psychological, physical and/or emotional.

Some common symptoms of stress are sleeping too much, fatigue, nausea, diarrhea, tight stomach, tight muscles, pain, moody, irritability, depressed, anxious, lack of sense of humor and being abrasive.

Stress is everywhere. Frequently, it appears disguised as other things so we don’t believe we are stressed out.

The more dramatic the source of the stress, the deeper we bury it and the longer it will take to rear its ugly head. People sometimes suffer intense stress and take months or longer to show the signs.

Anxiety attacks and depression are frequently trigger by long bouts of stress.

When there is no let up in the stress, health suffers quickly. Heart attacks and strokes and sudden death are often the end result.

A common source of stress is feeling trapped for economic reasons by a job that isn’t satisfying or feels unstable. If you′re faced with many demands at once, the natural result for many people is increased frustration and irritability.

Deadlines loom, the boss is a monster, the family is a mess, your health is gone and you have no security in your life. There just seems to be no way out.

You are probably suffering from severe stress if you are experiencing memory or concentration problems, insomnia or broken sleep.

Specific things to do: Make your work environment comfortable and suited to your needs. Discuss problems with your supervisor or manager, and if difficulties can’t be resolved, talk to your personnel department, trade union representative or other relevant members of staff.

Stay away from alcohol, caffeine, drugs and sugar as they all leave behind adverse effects on you.

Different people react differently to stress so there is no clear cut action to take. Get help and slowly start to clear the causes of stress from your life. Progress may be slow but it has a snow ball rolling downhill effect to it.

If your child is a Hannah Montana fan, no doubt you’ve been asked for her costume for Halloween. It will be the most popular costume for young girls across the country and you’ll want to buy early to get your child’s first choice. Costume retailers are expecting to sell out of the most popular Hannah Montana costumes. This leads to the first of seven costume purchase tips:

Tip #1 - Buy As Soon As You Can

Just like the winter holiday season, buying early can mean the difference between getting your child her favorite costume, or coming away with a second or third choice and hearing about it from your bellyaching child for months.

Tip #2 - Shop Online

Avoid the lines and wasting valuable time not finding what you want at the store. More than likely, prices will be lower on the web than from a store even with shipping costs. Shop with confidence when you find at least one security banner on the retailer’s website such as the BBB Online Reliability Program, VeriSign Secured, McAfee Secure, or the BizRate.com Customer Certified banner. (These are usually found at the bottom of the retailer’s webpage.) Then, in the comfort of your PJs, sit down with your child and surf the web to find which costume she wants the most. Click and buy.

Tip #3 - Make Sure to Purchase a Wig

A Hannah Montana wig is the key accessory to create the full transformation of your child into her secret rockstar identity. On the show, Miley Cyrus wears one to become Hannah. So, your daughter is going to want a wig too. Keep in mind, it has to be the RIGHT one. The official wig has blonde hair and straight bangs in the front. If there are no bangs or it’s not a blonde wig, don’t buy it. Your child will not wear it.

Tip #4 - Choose a Costume with Some Glitter

Most of Hannah Montana clothes are studded with sequins or some type of glitter. For the same reason as getting the right wig, purchase a costume with some glitter and glam.

Tip #5 - Buy or Make a Microphone

Find a faux microphone to complete the rock star look and make it obvious who your child is pretending to be. Order it at the same time as the costume. Or, to save some money, just make one yourself. You can use regular household items like a tennis ball for the top of the microphone and a toilet paper tube for the handle. Be creative, make it fun and craft it together with your child.

Tip #6 - Choose a Costume That Can be Worn with Jeans

It can get chilly on Halloween night. So, buy a Halloween costume that goes equally well with jeans. Miley Cyrus often wears jeans on-stage for her rock star concerts anyway. Fashion and function go hand-in-hand.

Tip #7 - Have Matching Boots or Shoes

In general, most costumes do not come with footware. So, you’ll have to decide from your closet what shoes or boots your child will wear with her Halloween outfit. For the closest match to the show, boots would be preferable over shoes. But, at the end of the day, your child will still get many “”Oh, How Cute!”" comments throughout Halloween regardless of the footware.

With these tips, you should be able to make the best Hannah Montana Halloween costume purchase for your child. Rock out the show and have a great Halloween!

Skin Weft Weave

On the cutting edge of styling, skin weft weaves are a great way to transform your hair. This beautiful weave is virtually undetectable when completed correctly. Unlike other weaving methods, a skin weft weave can be completed over a very short amount of time.

Just like other bonded weaves, you’re applying a weft using a bonding substance. However, regular bonded weaves require the weft to be placed on the scalp. A skin weft weave is completed by applying wefts (tracks) of human or synthetic hair to your natural hair by means of a bonding agent, such as bonding glue.

If you’re thinking of getting a skin weft weave, it’s important to remember that heated styling appliances can ruin your style if used in close proximity to the actual bond. Running a ceramic iron over a bond can cause the glue to melt, so make sure to be careful when using those types of styling tools while your skin weft weave is in place.

There are basically two different types of hair you can use for your skin weft weave: human hair or synthetic hair. Human hair is the obvious choice because of its durability and ability to take and hold styles, color, heat-styles, and wet-sets. Some synthetic hair can be wet-set; however, if you’re planning on using any type of heat to style your hair, you should stick with human hair. Either way, you want to match your extension hair as closely as possible to your hair’s natural color and texture.

To complete a skin weft weave:

1. Straighten the hair beforehand if possible so you won′t have to straighten over the bond. Remember, hair that has oils or products in it can cause the bond to not stick as well as it should.

2. Your first part will be at the nape of the neck, from the left side to the right. Measure your weft to the desired length and cut where needed. Then, apply the bonding substance to the track of the weft.

3. Take your weft and place it as close as possible to the scalp, but so that it is still remaining on the hair. Press down to secure the hold.

4. Your next part should be roughly 1/2” thick. Follow the same directions to place the track on the hair, brushing the hair between the application of wefts to stop the hair from getting tangled. All your parts for the remainder of the weft application should be 1/2” thick.

5. Continue to do this until you don′t have enough hair to part horizontally. When this happens, the remainder of the hair will be used for blending and to create the natural part. Make a part 1-2 inches from the top of the forehead where your client will wear their part. Part the hair as desired. Take the rest of the remaining hair and cover the wefts and blend with the extension hair.

When your skin weft weave is complete, make sure to use extra care with heated styling tools. Ceramic irons and curling irons can melt the glue bond, causing the tracks to slip or fall out completely.

You should expect your skin weft weave to give you 2-4 weeks of beautiful hair when cared for and completed properly.
