Essential Hypertension, All We Know About It

Essential hypertension is also known as primary hypertension. This type of hypertension is said to be essential or primary hypertension because it is basically, its own primary cause. This is to say the medical community can′t find any underlying cause for it. The patient simply has hypertension and that is the bottom line!

How To Control It

It is not seen as a devastating event to be diagnosed with essential hypertension these days because it is usually controlled without complications by using everyday blood pressure medication. Moreover, though limiting alcohol consumption and controlling weight are factors in all types of hypertension, since these things are not the causes of essential hypertension, they don′t go very far toward effecting a cure. So, medication and regular examines are most often prescribed.

Treating Essential Hypertension

One school of thought is primary hypertension actually does have an underlying cause but the medical profession has yet to discover what it could be. The reason this hypothesis is viable is that some patients will respond to the same treatment that other patients may not benefit from at all. This leads to the conclusion patient-A may, indeed have a truly primary hypertension while patient-B still has an undiscovered underlying problem.

The medical profession knows how to deal with essential hypertension and in each individual case a doctor will come up with the best plan to treat the patient. This is true even though a period of trial and error will often be required.

Because blood pressure medication is meant to be taken daily, no dosages should be missed. This is because hypertension medication has a cumulative effect and skipping a dose lessens the power of the overall treatment.

Blood pressure medications are designed to work by being taken in consistent dosages every day at the same time during the day. By altering this routine, even slightly, the patient could render the medication ineffective. This, in turn, would put him/her at a greatly increased risk for a heart attack or a stroke. This, of course, is not a desirable option.

Keep the Lines Of Communication Open

If you don′t feel good, tell your doctor. Maybe your medication will need to be altered in type or dosage. However, sometimes changing from one medication to another, or one dosage to another, needs to be done gradually. Your doctor will know how to proceed with this change. Doing it wrong could cause more problems than just not feeling good.

Though hypertension is a disease usually thought as something that develops as people start to age, essential hypertension is more prevalent in people who are young. In fact, teenagers are its number one target. This is because whereas aging can be a cause of ordinary hypertension, essential hypertension is present without a cause.

Essential hypertension is relatively new to the medical lexicon and so, why people get it is not well understood. Some believe, because it comes on without known causes, it is inherited. Only time will tell us whether or not this theory will hold true.

If you are into the health scene, it is hard to miss hearing about the acai berry. However, if you are looking for some acai research to assure you that this little berry is as good as people say it is, then you will be sadly disappointed. At least as of the time of this writing. So far, there are still a piddling few official research efforts into the health benefits of the acai berry that is pronounced ah-sigh-EE.

The acai berry is a little berry that is deep purple in color, comparitive in size to a grape. The berry is native in deep swampy areas in some rain forests. It is common in Brazil where the locals eat it on a regular basis. They do not need to read any acai research reports to know that this berry is good for them. They can feel the health benefits that come with eating this berry immediately.

Many people in the US, Europe and Asia eat the acai berry, even when there is no sufficient acai research reports to tell them how healthy this berry is. It tastes good and it makes people feel energized, healthy, strong and alert. Anyone drinking the acai berry juice or taking acai berry products can feel the difference it makes to their health.

A significant acai research that has many people talking about the acai berry is the research done by the University of Florida. The findings by the University of Florida was published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry and outlined so many amazing benefits of the acai berry. University of Florida was among the first to do serious research on the acai berry.

What the University of Florida’s acai research discovered was that, at least in the lab, the acai berry caused a self destruct response in cancer cells. 86 percent of leukemia cells tested in the lab were killed or partially killed by the presence of the acai berry. This is a preliminary test on the acai berry and its effect on cancerous cells and nothing was conclusive by any means but it gives hopes to those fighting cancer.

Since the promising results published by the University of Florida, there have been more acai research reports published and many more findings that support the astonishing health benefits of the acai berry. More scientists are paying attention to the acai berry. However, there are still too few researches done on the acai berry to give people more hope.

People are still hopeful that the acai berry can cure cancer and one day an acai research will show just exactly how. One thing for sure, people are hopeful about it. Some of the health benefits of the acai berry are that it is naturally low in sugar, in cholesterol, high in protein, high in nutrients, high in antioxidants, and so on.

The world definitely needs more acai research done to find out exactly why this little berry is so healthy and to what extend can it help people cure diseases such as cancer. While more acai research is being conducted, companies are taking advantage of this healthy craze and manufacturing many products based on the acai berry.

How many of you can look in your closet and find at least one T-shirt there. And I’ll bet there are more than that. In some cases at least a dozen and more. A T-shirt is made of light cotton or cotton blend and can be slipped over the head. They usually have no buttons, or collars, short sleeve, long sleeves. The sleeves usually are just above the elbow and sometimes a little shorter. They are casual garments due to their light weight and soft texture are popular favorites for wearing around the home or just for knocking around in the garage or garden.

The common T-shirt is worn by lots of people who don’t usually think or even know about it’s history, honestly and truthfully, it’s has been around for eons. There is no definite set time when this garment was first worn, but it can generally be traced back to England during the 1880′s. Back then it was called an vest, another name would be an under-vest. It was mainly meant protect a man’s clothing from perspiring damage. Today, most men wear the T-shirt, but as underwear and for the same reason, perspiration .

During World War II, the English under-vest was adopted by American soldiers. Since their thicker, less comfortable and restricted movement, Americans found the English under-vest. This type of garment could be worn alone and leave a person feeling much cooler and with a wider ranger of movement. It is thought that it was during this time that the word “T-shirt” was acknowledge, thanks to the distinctive shape of the garment. Other feel the origin of the name stemmed from the fact it was called a “training shirt.”

At the conclusion of the second World War, the use of the T-shirt was no longer warn as under ware. It had made it’s debut, so to speak, in the presidential campaign of to the shock of many both of the candidates came out with T-shirts printed to promote their campaign with their slogans of: “Dew it for Dewey” for Thomas E. Dewey and “I Like Ike” for Dwight D. Eisenhower. We see plenty of T-shirt today with slogans and more on them, but it was a shocker at that time. T-shirts had gave the impression of masculinity and ruggedness, and this was further amplified by the film performances of James Dean’s “Rebel Without A Cause” who also appeared in a crisp white T-shirt, and Marlon Brando displaying his impressive physique via T-shirt in “The Wild One.”

These movie actors made a point of wearing these in their publicity shots, usually bright white, as well and for some the T-shirt is a mainstay of their wardrobe. There are many different kinds of T-shirts out therein all colors, short sleeve, long sleeved, with with/out monograms or slogans. One more important tidbitwoman, teens, pre-teens, toddlers and babies wear T-shirts. There is no age limit and T-shirts are acceptable in almost any social circumstance. Many wear the infamous T-shirt out to dinner, to the movie in some cases they are permitted to wear T-shirts to business, on a given day. And sailing is one place you see T-shirts as part of their uniform. No restrictions seem to exist.

Unlike many illnesses, people suffering from depression will display all the available symptoms of depression and not just one or two from the studies carried out by health care officials. Owing to the nature of depression, the symptoms are sometimes not readily visible especially by people close to the person suffering symptoms of depression.

The number of symptoms of depression is quite large so being aware of them is a positive step forward. Diagnosis however, does not stipulate that a depressed person must have every symptom before they qualify to receive medical attention.

Sadness over an extended period of time and no interest in life around them are often the first signs of depression. Apart from being the earliest signs of depression, they are also the two most common and easy to spot even without professional help.

Everyone has things they enjoy and like to do but depressed individuals lose this interest completely for no apparent reason. One symptom follows another and a negative attitude about everything around them is just another symptom that is easy to spot.

Depressed individuals do not value themselves at all, are lethargic and suffer from terrible guilt. There is always the feeling that they do not deserve to be happy and this just increases the other symptoms they feel. Thus, the loss of self-worth, if that person feels like he or she isn’t worthy of being happy or enjoying one’s self then that’s clear tell-tale symptom of depression.

This failure to even enjoy your own hobbies and interests just shows how sever depression can become. Once this situation has occurred then it really does mean that something serious is happening.

This lack of enthusiasm often culminates in a complete lack of energy. A healthy mind creates a health body they say and although not always true, people with mental disorders are often found to be in poor physical condition.

A depressed person will have trouble concentrating plus a poor memory and is indecisive which can be another tell-tale symptom of depression. This can culminate in failing to remember things that happened or what other people have said and this lack of interest actually makes depressed people very inattentive.

We all know how difficult it is to concentrate when we feel tired so erratic sleep patterns may exacerbate the problems they have with concentration and memory. Often we notice things like how much a person is eating before anything else and if it is not nutritious, this can lead to other problems. Left unchecked, the depression sufferer will feel unwell for regular headaches and stomach pains as well as other bodily pains there may also be a morbid preoccupation with death, including their.

White tea promotes a good, radiant and problem free skin. It has been known for many years that green tea helps improve the skin, but recent research has suggested that white tea is even more better at it.

White tea can help fight off bacteria and viruses. It is a ver good antibacterial and antiviral agent. Recent research has proven that it is better than green tea at fighting off germs and viruses.

Research has shown that people who drank white tea were more likely to have stronger bones compared to those who didn’t drink it. Though this research is as yet inconclusive it still sheds light on a potential benefit to Arthritis and Osteoporosis patients.

A group of antioxidants called catechins which are present in white tea help to maintain good cholesterol levels. White tea antioxidants also help in a number of other ways such as blood pressure regulation and improved circulation in the heart.
