Tuxedo colors come in many different shades and hues. I wrote this article to help you see how your body type, skin tone, and the particular event you are going to should dictate which color to wear. I will review the classic colors and help you decide which color to choose.

Wearing classic colors such as brown, white, gray, black, and midnight blue are a safe bet for any type of event. However, you should note that these colors are a necessity for events such as balls, weddings, and award ceremonies.

The black tuxedo goes great with and skin color, event, and even body type. The color black does a great job conforming to naturally slim men and women. It also does a fantastic job at making larger men look slimmer than they really are. This tuxedo is highly recommended for anybody’s first tuxedo purchase.

The gray tux comes in both light gray and charcoal gray. Larger men should always go with the charcoal gray version while slimmer men should base their decision off of skin shade. The lighter your skin the darker your tux should be.

Dark blue is very formal in nature and is great for looking different at a black tie affair. This color looks especially good on people with lighter skin tones. The light blue tux looks great with both light and dark skin shades. People with fit and well toned bodies will look better in a light blue tux than men and women with less flattering body types.

White tuxedos are great for men and women with dark complexions. It is also great for people with fit bodies that don′t mind being accentuated. People wearing this type of tux will look great in most formal situations.

The brown tux has regained some of its popularity over the last few years. This is probably because it looks great on all skin colors and with all body types. A nice dark chocolate brown is still very formal but slightly different than the norm.

I hope you enjoyed reading this article as much as I enjoyed writing it. Apply these principles to your everyday tux purchases and you cannot go wrong.
