Very Soon, Christmas will be over and New Year will come. It’s the time for you to make good on your new year’s resolution to get those six-pack abs which you have dreamed about and that your girlfriend dribbles over.

If you’ve decided that this year you are going to get a killer six pack then you’re have jumped on the bandwagon with hundreds if not thousands of others. Sadly when February rolls around the majority of people will have already fallen off the wagon. This is essentially because they are going about achieving their results the wrong way. Did you know that you can get that six-pack without doing a single sit-up?

I guess now that I have your enough attention I can tell you more about this little secret.

First let me tell you that this is not a promotion of any latest machine which will magically make your abs perfect. Because the very basic point is that these machines Do Not Work at all! Rockers, Abs loungers and busters are made to do only one thing, get money out of your wallet. They do that work very well, but do little for your muscles.

Did you know that these machines do very little for the abdominal muscles? To get those six pack abs, you must first know where your abs are! These machines make you exercise till you are blue in the face, and yet you are no where close to getting that ream six-pack. The main reason for this is because the abdominal muscles are covered in a layer of fat making them invisible visible to the naked eye.

When a person gains weight, it doesn’t all go straight to the mid section. Instead it also spreads itself across arms, legs and the entire body. Got it? Genetics and terrible habits determine how much you gain weight and where.

Just to summarize, keep the following in mind, its always healthy to eat less and exercise more. It helps to eliminate the excess fats stored in your body. Don’t ever get lured into buying those fancy ab machines that promise six pack abs in a designated time frame. They just make your wallet lighter! Include cardiovascular exercise in your routine to lose fat and gain your six pack abs.

Once youve lost enough fat youll finally find your abs. At this point you can decide what exercises you need to do to make them look even better.

Exercise more and eat less. Doing abs exercises to lose your fat and to build that six-packs abs will not do any good. It’s just a waste of time and energy. Therefore, leave those machines and gizmos that you have brought and make a resolution to get those ‘Brad Pitt abs’ by losing weight from your entire body.

Remember that not everybody has the same body composition, genetics and habits. With a little bit of research, you can create a personalized plan that works just right for you and helps you develop those six pack abs in no time.
