Tips for Effective Weight Loss
Obesity sufferers like me look at weight loss like a hunt for gold at the foot of the rainbow. Always wanted, but never attained. Its been my long-held dream to be in those smooth and sleek outfits that project elegance and style through my enviably slender figure. Ive been through every weight-loss technique imaginable, but all without success. Family and job matters, which are naturally important, took my time away from serious workout sessions. I was almost desperate, until I acquired new learning from the Internet. With some obsessive surfing and rigorous online research, I came up with workout programs that jibed perfectly with my lifestyle, and in 4 months time, I was a full 20 kg lighter.
I have put some things which I follow, for all those like me who are willing to lose some weight and are looking for a suitable schedule to do so.
Firstly Knowledge is everything; you need to understand few concepts before you begin to lose weight, the more you know the more you will be willing to lose that weight. One needs to know what is obesity, it is not just being fat one should remember apart from being esthetically awkward and a source of constant humiliation and inferiority complex in society it, also happens to be one of the leading causes of heart disease, diabetes, sexual dysfunction, obstructive sleep apnea as well as orthopaedic problems. The cause of obesity is not very well known but certain studies have proven that it is the direct result of an imbalance between food eaten and energy expended. Obesity is determined by calculating the body mass index of a person this is a ratio of height and weight and the normal range is between 18- 24kg/m2. Obesity happens to be one of the leading preventable causes of a chronic debilitating illness as well as death.
Secondly how to combat obesity: As we already know we can attack obesity two ways diet and exercises. Diet is something which is practically impossible for people like us, but here is what I did instead of having 3 large meals I began having 5 even 6 meals a day, before you come to any conclusion let me explain, I had a good breakfast in the morning and then around mid day I had an apple and some green vegetable salad, or sometimes plain carrots, this used to reduce my hunger when I used to have my lunch. I did the same thing whenever I was hungry and this reduced the amount of food I used to consume during each course. This part I am really proud off, I began taking black coffee without milk believe me this might look insignificant but it reduces a lot of fat and calories that I used to consume, and it helped me in a long run.
