One of the biggest game consoles to hit the shelves since the very first Nintendo gaming system is the Wii. Not only is this console amazing in every, possible way, but it has also revolutionized the gaming world as we know it! To be completely honest, the Wii is not only one of the best game consoles in the world, but it is also one of the most fun! There are however, a few tips and tricks that you need to learn in order to be safe when you are playing the Wii.

When you bring your Wii home, you will be eager to start playing it. Before you get to that point, though, make sure your gaming area is clean. In fact, you need to be careful when choosing your gaming space, too. It should be devoid of any hanging lights, furniture which could be easily broken, pets, and people who are unaware. It is best to have a space around you which measures at least five feet.

You can learn a lot by watching Wii commercials and the little tutorials that come on the console and on some of the games. Most importantly, you can learn how to play safely. You need to watch these. It will show you the proper way to use the Wii remotes. Always remember, if you are not careful, you could put a remote sized hole in your TV.

One of the biggest things that you need to remember to do is use your Wii controller’s strap, as this strap is going to help you and ensure that you do not put any holes in your walls, friends or even your animals! Now, if you did buy your Wii before 2006, December, you may want to get some new straps as your straps could snap very easily.

One of the biggest points that you need to be sure that you are doing when you are playing with your Wii is using your wrist, not your entire arm. The Wii remote is supposed to be used lightly and carefully, you do not have to use your entire arm or all of the force of your shoulders to get it to react.

Remember, you are supposed to have fun while playing with your Wii. It is not a battle! If you get angry at a game, you raise your chances of doing some damage with your remote. So just take a break and walk away for a while.

In addition to being truly innovative, a lot of the games available on the Wii promote an active lifestyle filled with exercise. Just look at the Wii Fit, after all! However, all the Wii exercise in the world does not beat real exercise and activity. Even if you are not getting angry at the game, you need to remember to take some time off every once in a while.

Last but definitely not least, every time you sit down to play, you need to keep an eye on your play area again. Make sure that nothing about it has changed. Pause the game every so often to do the game. Just in case you do get a little enthusiastic while playing, you want to make sure no one is around to get hurt.

It seems like, with every new game that is designed for it, the Wii becomes even more popular. It is no wonder. Everything about it presents a new innovation in gaming technology. You do not want your television, a lamp, a loved one, or a pet to get Wii’d in any way, after all.

Now, you might be tempted to jump in and start playing the second you get home with your new Wii. Resist this temptation! You need to do a few things first. For starters, you need to make sure you have a wide open area in which to play. There should not be any breakable furniture or knick knacks, children, pets, hanging fixtures, or anything of that nature in your space. If you are one of many people who suffer from gout, then chances are that you’ve heard people saying that the is the disease of kings and that the cause of it is too much beer and rich food. Gout is caused by a build up of uric acid crystals around your joints, it normally starts in your big toe and can move around your body from there. Uric acid crystals have no idea how old you are and they don’t care that you are too young to experience the horrible burning pain that goes with a gout attack.

Over the last 20 years the average child spends a lot less time outside getting exercise and eats a lot more processed food and drinks. Most children are not satisfied with drinking plain old water any more they want sugary sodas and flavored drinks that are full of fructose.

Fructose and sodas have been shown in recent studies to increase the levels of uric acid in peoples bodies, this has led to increased incidences of gout. Gout is definitely not a disease of kings anymore, as the amount of soda and so called “health″ drinks that we all consume continues to increase so will the instances of gout.

Anyone who suffers from gout can reduce the amount of attacks that they suffer relatively easily by changing their diet, the problem is that the older we get the more set we become in our eating habits and the harder it becomes to change our diet.
