Warranty & Customer Service: It is important that the manufacturer stand behind its product. The warranty coverage is always a good benchmark of the manufacturer’s confidence in its product. Panasonic has a 1 year labor, 1 year parts and 1 year in-home service as well as 1 year shipping. Panasonic has a machine hour counter and the warranty expires after 1,000 hours of use. Panasonic has average warranty coverage. Customer service is through your retailer or national service centers. Service time and quality is variable and dependent on where service is obtained. Our Rating in this category is 15.

Comfort & Ergonomics: Comfort and ergonomics are important design characteristics with a massage chair recliner. Panasonic massage chairs are fairly well designed and comfortable. The armrests are padded and the material soft. The upholstery on the chair back is soft and fits the back well. The head pillow supports the head and is plush. The footrest is not adjustable, so taller buyers beware. The Real Pro Elite Elite is a 17 in Comfort & Ergonomics.

Ease of Use: Ease of use is defined as how intuitive the controls and how complicated are they to use without reading the instructions. Panasonic has lead in the development of remote controls using LCDs and other advanced features. The Real Pro Elite EP-3222 has many features and correspondingly many buttons on the control. Most are intuitive, but some take some getting used to, which means lower ease of use. Panasonic tries to compensate for this with its “Voice Guidance” feature. The automatic massage buttons are located across the top of the controls for easy access and they have a “focus” button which allows you to repeat the massage action that occurred. The Real Pro Elite has a side panel with additional manual massage controls for the lower body massages. Overall Rating for the Panasonic Real Pro Elite for ease of use is 17.

Key Features: The most prominent features of the Panasonic Real Pro Elite are the 33 airbags in the lower body air system and the Swede-Atsu massage system. The lower body airsytem has a total of 33 airbags and provides great coverage for the hips, thighs, buttocks, calves and feet. The compression air massage gently, but firmly squeezes the lower body to release tension and soreness. The Swede-Atsu uses rubber massage heads. These rubber massage heads coupled with the software replicate the stoking of the palms of the hand, pressing by the heal of the hand, or the kneading with the thumbs. The massage is solid and does a thorough job of relieving tension and stress. Our rating of the Panasonic EP-3222 in this category is 19.

Massage Therapy: The Panasonic Real Pro Elite EP-3222 has both automatic and manual massage settings. Panasonic incorporates 4 full body automatic courses, four 14-minute Pre-Programs, and 5 massage speed settings for a total combination of 14 manual massage courses. This massage chair is endorsed by the American Chiropractic Association recognizing the many health benefits that this massage chair can provide. Endorsements aside, the massage therapy in this chair is fairly comprehensive and will not disappoint. The Panasonic Real Pro Elite is a 19 in Massage Therapy.

The Panasonic Real Pro Elite was just reviewed in 5 categories ranging from warranty to features to ergonomics. How does the Panasonic Real Pro Elite Score? Based on the 5 categories the total score for the Panasonic Real Pro Elite is an 87/100. The Real Pro Elite massage recliner provides a comprehensive and thorough full body massage. Just be wary of the warranty coverage and consider purchasing an extended warranty for further protection. Also, taller users have to compromise with the footrest which does not extend. Other than that, Panasonic integrates some solid technology with therapeutic massage benefits into this luxury shiatsu massage chair.

Our goal is to present a potential massage chair purchaser with an unbiased, thorough and comprehensive review of the Panasonice Real Pro Elite. We have developed a 5 category system to evaluate a massage chair. We give equal weight to each category and give 0 to 20 points rating and then add them up to present an overall score. Our categories include Warranty & Customer Service, Comfort/Ergonomics, Ease of Use, Features and Massage Therapy. This systematic approach forces us to a disciplined method of evaluating a massage chair to help guide anyone looking at massage chairs. The Panasonic Real Pro Elite EP-3222 shiatsu massage chair price is in the Luxury range of $4,000 to $5,000.

Warranty & Customer Service: First is how the manufacturer rates in both warranty coverage and customer service. The manufacturer needs to stand behind its product. Panasonic gives a 1 year labor, 1 year parts and 1 year in-home service as well as 1 year shipping. Panasonic puts a machine life cap of 1,000 hours of use. Panasonic gives a short warranty combined with the 1,000 hour cap (for heavy users), the warranty rates as ok. The electronics company’s such as Panasonic (or Sanyo) like to sell extended warranties. Panasonic offers in-home technician service and will pay for shipping for the first year. Customer service is through your retailer. Service times vary on the service center location. Overall Rating for Panasonic warranty and customer service is 15.

Comfort & Ergonomics: Massage chair recliners should fit the body and be comfortable to site on. The Panasonic Real Pro Elite has soft padded armrests. The EP-3222 has a soft upholstered detachable head pillow to support the head. Overall, the chair is comfortable to sit in. One point of restriction is the footrest. The footrest stays at a fixed length and cannot be adjusted for taller individuals. If you are taller, then you can raise the footrest horizontal and put your legs straight through. You then miss the foot compression massage. Overall Rating for Panasonic comfort and ergonomics and customer service is 17.

Ease of Use: Ease of Use is an important consideration with the advance of electronics. The average massage remote has an average of 15 buttons. This can just be overwhelming without an engineering degree unless it is designed right. The remote control of the Panasonic Real Pro Elite is fairly intuitive to use. Additionally, Panasonic has added Voice Guidance. Of course, voice guidance is a mixed blessing. It is good when you need something and annoying when you do not. The 4 automatic programs are easy to use where one can select and just sit back and relax. The side panel contains more manual controls for the manual massage techniques and the lower body air system. The Focus button is a nice option which allows the user to repeat a massage that it just performed. Our rating in this category is 17.

Key Features: The important features of the Panasonic EP-3222 are the Swede-Atsu which is designed to replicate the techniques of a massage therapist, 33 airbags in the lower body air massage system and the back rollers cover 185 square inches. The Swede-Atsu uses rubber massage heads to replicate the stoking of the palms of the hand, pressing by the heal of the hand, and kneading with the thumbs. The expanded back coverage to 185 square inches is impressive to cover your back thoroughly. Panasonic packs a whooping 33 airbags into the Real Pro Elite. There are 3 lower body massages including Grasp, Auto and Squeeze. There are a number of impressive features included in the EP-3222. Overall Rating for the Panasonic Real Pro Elite for features is 19.

How does Panasonic Real Pro Elite EP-3222 rate? Overall, our rating of the Panasonic Ep-3222 is an 87/100. The remote control is easy to use, intuitive and comes with the Voice Guidance. The back and lower body massages are pretty comprehensive and effective. The warranty is a bit of a concern, since the direct factory warranty is rather short. It is possible to purchase an extended warranty, but this impacts the delivered price. If you are tall, then the footrest is an issue, since it cannot be adjusted. However, the technology used seems reliable and delivers a thorough massage. If you are looking for a shiatsu massage recliner in this category, this is definately one to seriously consider.

Warp Speed Fat Loss - Abs Workout Diet Tips

People are often misguidedly assured with their rigid workout schedules and training routines that they pay no attention to their diet. Some would claim that “It is OK to eat what you want as long as you burn them in activities in the gym”, Sorry to tell you that this is a great misstep in achieving that dream abs.

Yes, you burn fat during workout but the process of totally eliminating them in your system is through the help of balanced nutrition and with the right diet and food consumption, the workout overall will effect its magic on you. So, how to choose the best diet for your Ab Workout?

Eat more fiber

To ditch the fat and show off firm, beautiful abs, eat at least 25 grams of fiber daily. Fiber, which is the indigestible part of fruits, vegetables and whole-grain foods, helps you achieve flat abs. For best results, increase your fiber intake slowly over the course of one month and drink plenty of water to keep food moving through your system as quickly as possible.

Go for high-quality carbs

When you eat carbs, they break down into glucose, which is stored as glycogen in the muscles and liver. When glycogen is stored, it carries with it three times its own weight as water, compared to no water at all for protein and fat. If you eat an extremely high-carb diet, you may store excess water, experience bloating and gain temporary water weight. Remember to focus on balanced eating.

Water up!

Drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of water per day. Beverages with little or no calories, caffeine or sodium, including herbal tea, are best. Avoid regular soft drinks and soups with lots of sodium. If you are eating plenty of water-rich foods such as fruits, vegetables and low-sodium soups, you can get half of your water requirements from foods.

Avoid carbonated drinks. Fizzy drinks, including soda pop and spritzers, increase bloating because the carbon dioxide trapped in the bubbles creates gas, which slows down stomach emptying.

Sodium Alert

Choose fresh, natural foods over fast, commercial or packaged foods. Instead of ordering french fries, have a baked potato. Instead of a pickle why not enjoy a fresh cucumber. Beware of cured meats and remember that soups are high in sodium; some canned varieties contain more than 1,100 milligrams per cup. Read labels carefully.

Sleep light

People who skipped breakfast or lunch and ate their largest meal later in the day has lower metabolisms. Eating light at night will reap double benefit: You′ll wake up with a light stomach, and you′ll also have a better appetite for a fiber-rich breakfast, which sets you up for a day of healthful eating. Eat five times a day. Your body needs food every three to four hours, so instead of eating three large meals, try to schedule five smaller, more frequent meals throughout the day.

Stress-Away!

Stress triggers the hormone cortisol to turn up your appetite and deposit fat around the organs in your abdomen. And that’s not all, it can trigger diabetes and cancer too so the best and commonly known anti-stress action for you to do is exercise.

A lot of people believe the only way to get into shape and stay that way is to bite the bullet and get a gym membership. While that can absolutely help some people, others prefer to do things on their own time schedule, at their own pace and in the privacy of their own homes.

Home fitness training is actually a great choice and an idea that’s much more than just possible with the right equipment, dedication and determination at play.

The central idea of training for fitness is not only to gain a body shape or tone that would rival a weight lifting champ’s. Likely, the goal post is to increase health overall, endurance, and muscle tone. Keeping this idea in mind, just a simple easy home fitness training workout can get the job done.

Before running out and buying a lot of expensive equipment, it’s a good idea to consider what types of activities a person might want to include in their health fitness routine. For the best overall workout, it’s a good idea to consider not only muscle tone, but also cardiovascular fitness, as well.

Some of the best home exercises don’t even require equipment, but a few well-chosen pieces can really help. Some of the best ideas for home fitness training include:

There is swimming. Anytime there is a pool at home or nearby, swimming is an excellent way to work out the whole body in a low-impact way. It can work almost all major muscle groups and at the same time take in the cardio component.

And of course there is running. This will generally require we do a little bit of extra muscle toning also. Running is a very good exercise. Jogging or walking are both very good too.

And also included are treadmills, elliptical machines and rowing. These kinds of fitness training machines provide for almost a full-body work out too, that are also a lot of fun. The machines also don’t even require a lot of time to show good results. A lot of this equipment also gives a cardiovascular work out too.

Aerobics. There’s something to be said for a good aerobics workout tape at home. A well-designed program will work to tone the entire body while also offering a great cardiovascular component, too.

It’s a good idea for some to consult with their doctors before choosing a route to go with home fitness training or even gym training. Even for those who haven’t done a whole lot of exercise in lately might really benefit from a selection that better fits their personal fitness level at the time.

The options for home fitness training are many, and they don’t have to include boring “routines.” The best way to get started is to just get up and start moving. Even small steps can amount to big differences in health down the road.

Selecting a Replacement Belt For Treadmill Damages

Your walking belt for treadmill is more delicate because it is more exposed to contact and therefore prone to damage. This article explains the general pointers in doing a check up on the belt as well as how to replace it. How do you check signs of damages?

The two most important parts of the treadmill are the belt and the deck. If the belt is not properly taken cared of, the deck’s mechanical operation will also get affected.

Maintain your treadmill belt with lubricants especially if you run on it everyday. You will know if your belt needs replacement if you notice these items.

- When it curls on its edges.

- The treadmill speed slows down when you step onto the deck.

- When obvious grooves appear on your treadmill belt.

Generally if the walking surface area of your belt for treadmill looks worn out, you may need to replace the belt. Otherwise, it may only need lubrication or waxing to keep it functional.

If one or two signs of damages are present, you may have to replace your belt. If you do not have the instruction manual, here are the basic instructions.

Removing the belt

- The very first important thing you do is to pull out the plug. Make sure your treadmill is not connected to a power supply.

- Find the hood of the treadmill’s motor and remove it.

- Loosen and remove the screws on both sides to take out the rear roller. These are the same screws affecting the tension of the belt.

- The same procedure applies to the front roller. Incline the board if the screws are not accessible.

- Once the screws are removed, you can now take out the front and rear rollers.

- Remove the belt.

Replacing the belt for treadmill

- The belt and the deck must be laid together side-by-side. Slide the belt over the deck and align.

- Install the rollers and fasten the deck to the frame properly and securely.

- With the screws, fasten the belt and deck together. You may need to adjust the deck to get the screws in.

- Slide the belt in through the rear roller by pulling it to the rear end.

- Tighten the screws a bit to hold the parts together.

- Replace the drive motor belt over the drive gear by sliding the front roller inside the belt.

- Make sure the belt fits snuggly to the deck by tightening the front and rear screws.

- Now that you have the new belt in place, you may need to adjust it. The adjustment concept is done by changing the speed to test the tightness and feel of your belt.

The process may sound simple but if you haven’t done this before, it’s best not to do it yourself. Seek help from someone who has more experience in replacing a belt for treadmill.
