People can pay lots of money for a fine quality cigar. Quality cigars are usually aged over time, but you too can enjoy a quality aged cigar by doing it yourself at home using a cigar humidor. A cigar that has been aged well displays complex but subtle distinctions in flavour and texture. Like wine, an aged cigar is simply the best kind of cigar that you can enjoy.

Start with a quality cigar if you are going to age them yourself. If you use a cheap cigar, you will probably be disappointed with the end result and the time will have been wasted. It takes about a year for the ageing process to complete. This is probably the minimum time you should allow. A rule of thumb when choosing is to find one that you find too strong or odourous, and this will probably be a good candidate.

Buy a good quality cigar humidor for the purpose of ageing your cigars. The cigar humidor is used to store the cigars at a constant tempertature and humidity. There is a 70-70 rule, which translates to 70 percent humifity and 70 degrees farenheit. You use a cigar humidor because it’s sealed and provides a stable environment for it’s precious cargo.

Maintaining the stability of the environment around the cigars is paramount in the ageing process, this is why a good quality cigar humidor is used. If you have changes in the environment constantly, this will cause the cigar to expand and contract, which can lead to cracking and even worse case destroying very flavours you are trying to develop.

When choosing the best cigar humidor, try to find one made with cedar wood lining. Cedar wood is very aromatic and the oils in the wood mix and blend with the oils of the tobacco over time. Ascertain how many cigars you will need to hold and ensure the cigar humidor has about twice the volume of space internally. Obtaining a mix that is right will help you achieve the final result. You can enjoy a well aged cigar, and it will not have cost you hundreds of dollars.

How to Ensure that You’ll Love Your New Body Art

Choosing a tattoo is difficult. If it isn’t, you have not done your homework. Too often, newcomers will stroll into their local tattoo parlor, pick up a few books or check out the artwork on the walls, and thirty minutes later sit down in the chair for their session.

This is crazy! Call it short-sighted, or having too much faith in tattoo removal technology (dubious odds, at best), but for something that will be on your body for your entire life, you really need to take a few steps back, slow down, and take your time making a design choice. Here are a few steps that you should consider taking so that you don’t end up with a visible reminder of your bad decision.

Your first step is to determine where the tattoo will be positioned. There’s no sense in looking for a design just yet, because many designs only “work″ in certain areas. For example, designs for hip tattoos often will not work as lower back tattoo desings. It’s even a good idea to apply a similarly-sized temporary tattoo in your target location so that you can be sure that you like the placement.

Next choose your design: first narrow down your selection into a style of tattoo that you like, and then narrow it further by finding several designs within that style that appeal to you.

Test drive your design: get some professional transfer paper — this is the paper that tattoo artists use to transfer designs from their books to your skin. Trace the design onto the transfer paper, optionally using a lightbox for assistance. You can find some transfer paper samples on this tattoo finder blog. Then have a friend transfer the design onto your skin and fill it in with fine-tipped permanent markers in the appropriate colors. It doesn’t have to be perfect - you just want to make sure the size, style, and colors agree with you.

Now you’ll just observe that design in its natural habitat! Don’t obsess over it, but glance at every time you pass the mirror, see how it works with the clothes you normally wear, make sure you can adequately cover it up when you need to, and be sure that you like the design and placement. Don’t be afraid to try on more than one design either; often, your second or third design choice will actually suit you the best. It should only take a few iterations until you find a tattoo you’ll love.

Additionally, if your tattoo will include a lettering style, don’t limit yourself to what you see in the parlor’s books. There are literally thousands of freeware fonts that you can download and install on your computer. You can use a graphics program (even a free one like gimp) to add the tattoo lettering to your design of choice, and then transfer it to your skin with the rest of the test tattoo. Like the design, you’ll eventually find a font that is perfect for your new tattoo.

To some, this sounds like a lot of work, and that’s true. But this tattoo will be with you for a lifetime, so you will want to do your research. Use a tattoo finder to locate a great design, browse through the many free fonts available online, and test drive all of the promising tattoo designs before you ink them permanently. Your effort will be rewarded many fold in the years to come.

For those who are thinking about a new tattoo design, there is a lot of legwork to cover. And if you don’t believe that to be true, then you might end up being one of those with ink that you hate. Gone are the days of just thumbing through a few dusty design books to find your (im)perfect design.

This is crazy! Eventually you’ll find a perfect design.

With the advent of the Internet, home based businesses have become very popular. Yet, the fact remains that local exposure can increase the sales for any enterprise. One way to get your name and products or services in the public eye is to use custom T shirts.

Look for T shirt companies that offer a fast turnaround. You will want to see your custom T shirts as soon as possible after you make up your designs. The time it takes to make up your design may vary depending on what is involved in producing it. The number of shirts ordered is also a factor.

You do not have to draw the lettering if you choose not to do so. Some T shirt designs you might draw would have a caption as a part of the design. If you want the caption to appeal to your own artistic ideas, you might like to draw the caption yourself. However, if you want the caption to be clear and legible, it might be better to simply draw the picture portion of the design and use the shirt company’s design tool to add the text.

The price is not usually set exactly for all types of custom T shirts. You will probably be quoted a price for the number and type of shirts you are ordering. You may get a break on the price if you are ordering a large number of shirts. The complexity of the design might also have a bearing on the price.

One thing to watch out for is inferior T shirts. Make sure the shirt you choose is made of a fabric that will wear well. 100 percent cotton is a good choice. This kind of shirt will last and last, but you need to make sure to get it the right size. Check with the company for a size chart. Cotton jersey knit is another fine selection. Also, if you get a colored shirt you need to make sure that it will retain its color. A pigment dyed shirt will look good for a long time.

You will be more content if you deal with a company that has good customer service. If you have any questions before you order, be sure to ask them. There may be a chat line or email address provided where you can find out about the products and the services of the company. The service you get as a potential customer is some indication of the help you will receive after you have placed your order.

If you do have a booth, you might want to have a drawing. People love to get anything for free, especially if it is an attractive item of clothing. That is why you should be particular with your design. You will have to get the permission of the custom T shirts company to use their shirts in this type of commercial enterprise. That is easy it is usually as easy as sending a simple email and waiting for a response.

There are many types of home based business, and the way you use custom football t-shirts may depend on how you sell your items. If your business is based on giving parties, you might make up custom T shirts to use as incentives. Then when a guest brings a certain number of friends along to the party, he or she gets one of your shirts as a reward.

In all commercial Football T-shirt printing, specific colors in the design to be printed are used. Few companies continue to use the water-based inks on the printed Tshirts that they supply. Most companies manufacturing Tshirts and providing Tshirt printing facilities prefer using plastisol because it can be used on varying colors without needing to make color adjustments at the art level.

A design that looks good on a piece of art paper might not show up well on the shirt. If your design has too many small lines or dots, it might not show up well. The easiest way to be sure is to scan your drawing in to the computer and blow it up to the size it will be on the T shirt. Stand back from it and see if it looks the way you want it to look.
