Should you pay for a massage, or are you just wasting your money. Some people may say why pay just to have your back rubbed. But if your masseur is well trained, then there are hugh benefits to be had by having a massage. Unless you have a sports injury it doesn’t matter what type of massage you have as the benefits are very similar with all of them.

So what exactly are these benefits? and are they worth paying for? Massage as a health care model is fairly new to the Western world, although has been practiced in many Eastern cultures for thousands of years. The ancient Egyptians, Greeks, Romans and Chinese, to name a few, used massage as part of their healing tradition.

Massage therapy was often prescribed as part of a treatment in traditional medicine. It would have been given with advice on diet, exercise and maybe even medicines that were to be taken internally.

In the West a variety of massage techniques are used incorporating the traditional techniques of the Middle and Far East. Over the last couple of centuries western massage has evolved and some new techniques have been incorporated into more traditional massage therapies. Gradually scientists proved the efficiency of massage and over the years main stream medicine has become more accepting of its benefits.

If asked the majority of people would tell you that massage is used to relax you, but I have to say that it does far more than that. Although saying that the benefits are similar for every type of massage, each method does bring their own unique technique to create healing in the body.

It is important to get used to listening to your body, we are all individuals and are changing all of the time. Maybe you have tried massage and thought that it was ok but didn’t find any real benefit, then maybe it was the wrong type of massage for you at the moment.

Do you know how to relax? I mean really relax so that all of the tension goes out of your muscles, if you meditate you will know the kind of relaxation I am talking about. In the modern world we live in stress comes at us from every direction, from our jobs (or lack of), from our families and friends and just from the manic pace of life most of us live at. Our stress is unlike our ancestors, whose stress came in short bursts, ours is continous day in and day out.

Today’s stressful world causes you a great deal of harm, there is a hectic pace of life, where you may feel you must be doing something all the time, this takes a toll on you both mentally and physically. You may often feel exhausted, but feel you have to carry on for fear of loosing your job to someone else.

Environmental pollution in the air, and chemicals in your food puts toxins into your body, putting even greater strain on your body. Fortunately, a good massage works to help the body get rid of toxins and allows the body to relax, taking tension out of the tight muscles.

On the physical level a good massage will leave you feeling invigorated, when you have finished your massage you may feel as if you are walking on air.

Your blood circulation will be improved when you have a massage, and there will be an increase of flow of the lymphatic fluid throughout your body. Toxins in the cells can impede the correct working of those cells and when this happens disease can follow, a regular massage can help prevent this.

When you have a massage there is a lot of physical manipulation of the muscles, this can reduce stiffness, release tension and increase mobility. Due to the nature of this physical manipulation, massage is very good as part of your regular exercise regimine, as it can help in the prevention of muscle injury.

Many scientific studies confirm that massage therapy can:

Reduce heart rate.

Lower blood pressure (if high).

Increase blood circulation and lymphatic flow.

Stimulates weak and inactive muscles to compensate for lack of movement due to an illness or an injury, stiffened and tense muscles are also relaxed.

Increases endorphins.

Reduce anxiety and tension.

This list is very impressive, but I am sure over the next few years the scientists will find even more benefits of massage.

The type of treatment offered by skilled masseurs combines healing techniques which work with the natural healing powers of your body to bring about wholeness to your mind, body and spirit.

Of course, it is recommended that anyone with any severe condition or chronic pain should consult with a licensed medical professional before embarking on a massage. Also any well trained massage therapist will be able to tell you if it is wise for you to have a massage or not.

Unless you have a sports injury it doesn’t matter what type of massage you have as the benefits are very similar with all of them.

Well, what are these benefits? and is a massage worth the money? Although massage therapy was used for thousands of years by the Greeks, Egyptians, Romans and Chinese as part of their healing tradition, in the Western world it is fairly new. This therapy has only been used for a couple of hundred years in Europe, and for the majority of that time was only available to wealthy people.

Massage therapy was often prescribed as part of a treatment in traditional medicine. It would have been given with advice on diet, exercise and maybe even medicines that were to be taken internally.

Over the last couple of centuries western massage has evolved and some new techniques have been incorporated into more traditional massage therapies. Each person is different, so one type of massage may suit one person but not another. If you have tried massage before but didn’t think you got any benefit from it, try a different type of massage which may suit you better. At different times you may benefit from a different type of massage, you should try to get into the habit of listening to your body′s needs.

The hectic pace of life that you probably live, where you may feel you must be doing something all the time, will take its toll on you if you do not learn to relax. Mentally and physically feeling exhausted is not how you are meant to lead your life.

Unless you live in some remote mountain top, you live with air pollution, chemicals in your food and water, and so much stress you may wonder how you will cope. The result of all of this is toxins in your body and tense tight muscles. One way to combat all of this pressure on your body is to have a regular massage. The first thing you will notice is the you feel more relaxed and more able to cope with the everyday hassles of life. More subtle is the removal of excess toxins which will benefit your health now and in the future.

On the physical level a good massage will leave you feeling invigorated, when you have finished your massage you may feel as if you are walking on air.

A good massage will increase the circulation of blood and lymphatic fluid through the muscles, assisting in the removal of any accumulated toxins. These toxins can interfere with cells working properly, the toxic load of the body can build up to such high levels that great health is not possible. One of the ways to help the body is to have a massage.

The physical manipulation of muscles can increase mobility and reduce stiffness, especially of the large muscle groups. This additional mobility and toning can help prevent injury, especially if you work out, but only if you use massage therapy as part of your regular training, the odd massage will not help very much.

Many scientific studies confirm that massage therapy can:

Reduce heart rate.

Lower blood pressure (if high).

Increase blood circulation and lymphatic flow.

Stiffened and tense muscles are relaxed, and weak and inactive muscles due to lack of movement when you have an illness or an injury are stimulated.

Oldest Healing Therapy, Massage

As early as 3000 BC massage was used as part of the health procedures in many ancient civilizations. and in the Middle and Far East possibly even longer. It is probably the oldest therapy known to man, instintively we will rub an area when it is hurting or sore.

An oiled massage every day was reccommended by Hippocrates who is often refered to as the ‘Father of Medicine’.

Oils are still used by masseurs regardless of the type of massage used. By using oils, hands are able to move over the body with ease. Sometimes essential oils are used but are always added to a base oil to dilute them.

Scientists have shown that essential oils can penetrate the skin, maybe through the sweat pores or the hair follicles. These oils when massaged into the skin are absorbed into the body’s bloodstream and other fluids to work internally.

Although used for centuries in the Middle and Far East, massage therapy did not reach the West for thousands of years. In the 19th century it became increasingly popular especially in Europe, but was limited to the health spas that were patronised only by wealthy people.

Swedish massage was develped by Per Henrik Ling a Swedish gymnast. Massage had become very popular, and he developed this type of massage due to his interest in sport. This type of massage deals mainly with the joints and muscles of the body.

By the 20th century massage had become very popular in the west, and had spread over to America. As it became more affordable to people its popularity spread quickly. In America a book was publish called The Massage Book, this was a book that covered not just massage but how to look at the body holistically.

By taking into account mind, body and spirit massage had come the whole circle back to Hippocrates who always spoke in terms of mind body and spirit. This is what we now term as the holistic approach to healing.

The massage process relaxes the body, mind and spirit. On the physical level, massage increases the circulation of blood around the body, which in turn help get rid of accumulated waste, so releasing harmful toxins from the body.

As massage relaxes the muscles and releases tension from the body, the person is able to relax and let go of all the stresses of everyday life. This in its self is a hugh benefit to the body, as endorphins are released creating the feel good factor, the persons spirit is lifted and they feel wonderful.

In traditional Chinese and Indian medicine it is believed that energy flows through the body along meridian lines. It is also thought that certain factors can block these meridian pathways and in the process cause illness. The restriction of energy by stress can be resolved by having a massage.

Although massage was on the edge of conventional medicine for a long time it has now been accepted by the majority of practitioners of conventional medicine. Massage therapy is also often offered as part of a patients treatment in American hospitals.

Why do hospitals use massage therapy? Massage is often used in the treatment of chronic pain, pregnancy, infant care, joint and muscle mobility, stress management and to help many other symptoms and disorders.

According to some research massage therapy used on a regular basis can help to boost the immune system, help to lower high blood pressure and give relief in the management of pain.

It is good to see massage therapy crossing over from the alternative medicine field to the mainstream as this means that many more people are able to experience the benefits of this very versatile form of treatment and therapy.

Some extremely clever people miss the point of online money making. They think they have everything they need, a cracking looking website and a positive professional attitude and yet they fail to maximize their profits. Know the reason for this? They try to sell entirely the wrong product. This would seem obvious but when you are caught up in all the jargon of online marketing it can be very easy to forget this basic principle.

While you set out to make a decision on some products for your online business you need to ask yourself some attractive basic and rational questions. The first one is what do most people want most in life. The answers to that one should not take too long to speck down. Most people want to happy, healthy and rich. The other thing most people want to be, which is often over looked, is attractive.

Products that help people with their health are always popular and this part of the market is not quite as saturated as the monetary product side. People are always interested in energy products and things to help them sleep well and other health products. The real killing to be made though is in products that people can use to boost or hold on to how attractive they are. How many men would kill for an effective hair lose product and how many women are keen to get their hands on anti ageing lotions and creams? Though popular this part of the market is less flooded than the other two mentioned.

Most people care very much about how they look, that is the truth and one sure fire way to make money online is to in fact give people what they want. Men worry about getting older and losing their hair, women just worry about looking older so if you can tap into a product that will help to lessen those worries you cannot fail to make a nice profit.

One of the reasons community sometimes make the fatal mistake of not choosing a quality product for their home business is because they decide that it is all just too hard. There is no denying if you decide to take on all the research involved yourself then you will have a very time consuming task on your hands. All the reasons to let maxlife research do it for you. Despite what people may think, you cannot just make money out of any product you decide to sell on your online business site. Looking For Energy Products: Try Internet Marketing

Why do so many people fail to get huge profits from their internet marketing business in the first year? Because they asked themselves the wrong questions. Simple as that. They asked questions like, what color should my website be. Should I get someone to design it or do it myself? They focused too much of their energy on things beside the big question, what do people want to buy from me? What will sell?

Most people are intelligent enough to work out what is important to people but they don’t apply that to the choosing of their internet products, a fatal error. The general people of most first world countries would probably list the three things as most important to them, health, money and beauty. Happiness is also likely to be on there but what person would not consider they would be happy if they had all of the other three?

So anyone who is planning to set up a home based business will be intelligent enough to focus on these three basic human wants. But which one to emphasize? Which one to focus on? Well, you could of course have products from all three and that would not be a bad thing. But if you would rather narrow things down and specialize to begin with then perhaps the one to lose is the get rich stuff. Why? Because of them all it is probably the one that has most been overdone in today’s market. Stick with the other two. People are vain and they want to live forever, hair loss products and energy products should have a good market. Your home based business should thrive on these.

What types of things fall into this category? An example of a health product that sells well is nutrient supplements. In a busy world people have not always got time to cook and eat properly, it is just a fact of modern society that most people accept , so health products that help people with this aspect of their life sell very well especially as people also credit them with having anti ageing properties.

Anti aging products also sell well because of the fact that people want to look their best at all times especially as they get older. Products like that cannot fail to sell. One of the biggest sellers on the market, however are products that help the consumer to lose weight. Not only does losing weight significantly improve your appearance but the health benefits of losing weight are well documented. So the customer is kind of getting two things for the price of one from the list of the three most important things in life. That is hard to beat.

Even once you have made the sensible decision to have these products on your home based business site you still need to decide which ones, this can mean time consuming research unless you decide to consult the experts. Maxlife research is the expert. You cannot go wrong with maxlife products
