When you begin a weight loss program, you want fast weight loss. Since no body takes pleasure in counting calories, binging, having cravings, feeling deprived, measuring portions, eating foods that they dislike or being tortured with a starvation diet that has them feeling hungry and unhappy, it is wise that you focus on the mental and emotional aspects to achieve successful weight loss.

The difference between the current popular weight loss methods and hypnosis weight loss is that the current one only works on what is going on below the neck, while hypnosis focuses on what is happening above and in your head. With hypnosis, fast weight loss can be programmed into the subconscious mind. For example; you can be given suggestions that every day activities such as sitting at a desk, taking on the phone, or that every time you pick up your phone, your body can respond by losing weight, and continue to lose weight until you reach your desired goal

The American Medical Association approved hypnosis in 1958. Since that time, it is being used effectively for numerous applications including pain management, smoking cessation, self-improvement, and sports training. Numerous studies regarding the efficiency of hypnosis on weight loss has been studied in prestigious publications such as the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology. For instance, a study of fifty females demonstrated fast weight loss with hypnosis in comparison to the control group, that experienced much lower weight loss.

It is documented that with the proper suggestions; people can experience fast weight loss. Hypnosis creates a state of awareness to help people learn to look at food differently, to change eating habits and reduce cravings. More and more people are starting to see hypnosis as a solution because it makes losing weight fun and easy.

Are you ready to learn the true secret to fast weight loss? Quit eating junk food. That is correct. The chemicals that cause weight gain and make it impossible to lose weight is in junk food. High fructose corn syrup is the biggest problem. Want to lose weight? Stop eating junk food.

Hypnosis is a scientific preferred method of weight loss because it is safe, natural and effective. Because your mind is programmed to think differently about food, losing weight is simple. If a weight loss program is hard and difficult, most people do not have the self control or discipline to stay committed. You can enjoy fast weight loss with hypnosis. Gaining control of your eating habits and losing weight creates a process that involves the mind and body connection.

Programming the subconscious mind is the real secret to weight loss success. During the time that you are in hypnosis, you can be given a suggestion, that food is unimportant to you. Suggestions can also be given so that you can experience fast weight loss, making it fast, easy, and exciting for you. As food becomes less important, it is also less controlling. Hypnosis can help you stop thinking about food, therefore leaving you eating less and losing weight.

Hypnosis can improve your eating habits and cause you to eliminate problem foods. You can stop eating when you are full, and gain control of unnecessary emotional eating. In addition to that, you can be programmed to love exercising, look forward to it, and be disappointed if you miss a workout. With programming like this, you will be on your way to fast weight loss. Another great benefit to the over all experience is that you will reduce your stress, feel better and have a more restful round sleep. If you are ready to get off the weight loss roller coaster and embrace the thinner, healthier, calmer, happier you, then it is time to try hypnosis. Your waistline will thank you for it.

Giving up smoking is notoriously difficult to do, so many people use stop smoking aids to try to make it a little bit easier. Many of these aids are available, including nicotine patches, nicotine gum, nicotine inhalers, pills, and homeopathic remedies.

When most people think about stop smoking aids, they think about the patch. The nicotine patch is a popular and well known stop smoking aid. It is available in most drugstores and was made with the intention of helping smokers quit smoking by lessening the discomfort they experience from withdrawal symptoms.

The nicotine patch can be an invaluable aid to smokers dealing with the symptoms of nicotine withdrawal, including anxiousness, nervousness, irritableness, sleeplessness, headache, and cravings. The patch cannot eliminate all of the symptoms of nicotine withdrawal, but there is evidence that it can alleviate some of them effectively. In order to succeed, one must wear the patch every day for approximately three months. It’s said that one out of every five smokers is able stop smoking using the patch if they are committed to quitting. However, some people experience side effects such as skin irritation and difficulty with sleeping.

A popular and well known stop smoking aid is the pill, otherwise known as bupropion or Zyban. This prescription drug and antidepressant pill is actually for those individuals who are depressed. However, it has been proven that this pill also helps smokers trying to quit smoking by suppressing symptoms of withdrawal. In fact, some studies show that Zyban is twice as effective as a nicotine patch. In any case, it is easy to use and non-addictive. Side effects of Zyban include trouble sleeping and a dry mouth. It is certainly worth a try.

Some other options for stop smoking aids include nicotine inhalers and nicotine gum. Those who use nicotine gum find it helps you quit smoking because it occupies your mouth, so you do not feel the need for a cigarette. Many who have stopped smoking have ended up gaining weight as a result of eating more to compensate for not having a cigarette in the mouth. For those who are afraid to stop smoking because of the fear of weight gain, nicotine gum is useful. This will satisfy their cravings for nicotine during withdrawal from cigarettes. It is typically used for about three months.

One type of stop smoking aid quitters can opt to use is a nicotine inhaler to try to wean off nicotine dependency. The nicotine inhaler mimics the effects of smoking, creating a transition step for those trying to stop smoking. However, it can cause throat and mouth irritation.

It is important to remember, however, that stop smoking aids can only work when individuals want them to work. That is, individuals must be fully dedicated to quitting smoking. This inner drive and motivation is the only way smokers will be able to quit smoking. Though stop smoking aids such as nicotine patches, nicotine pills, nicotine gum, and nicotine inhalers can help smokers quit, nothing can help them quit permanently except willpower.

Since quitting smoking is known to be difficult, many individuals end up trying to stop smoking with stop smoking aids. There are many stop smoking aids on the market, including the patch, the pill, nicotine gum, nicotine inhalers, and natural remedies.

When most people think about stop smoking aids, they think about the patch. The nicotine patch is a popular and well known stop smoking aid. It is available in most drugstores and was made with the intention of helping smokers quit smoking by lessening the discomfort they experience from withdrawal symptoms.

Many smokers suffer from withdrawal symptoms when they are quitting smoking. These symptoms may include things like headaches, cravings, tiredness, short tempers, and increased anxiety. Using a patch can help alleviate these symptoms, especially in controlling cravings. Nicotine patches can be used to deliver nicotine doses to those trying to stop smoking. To be effective, they must be used every day for about ninety days. Approximately twenty percent of dedicated quitters can stop smoking with the aid of a nicotine patch. Nicotine patches can cause skin irritation and difficulty sleeping. It is recommended that those trying to stop smoking also start therapy along with a nicotine patch to improve their odds of success.

Zyban (bupropion) is commonly prescribed as a stop smoking aid. Although it is actually an antidepressant, studies have shown that it also helps suppress withdrawal symptoms. This is a great benefit to smokers who are trying to break the habit. Zyban has, in fact, been proven in some studies to be twice as effective as the nicotine patch when it comes to helping stop smoking. No matter what, it is not addictive and easy to use. There are some side effects when taking Zyban, such as dry mouth and difficulty sleeping, but it is definitely worth trying.

The nicotine inhaler is a stop smoking aid that lets people take a dose of nicotine whenever they feel the need. This mimics the effects of smoking and makes the transition between smoking and not smoking a little bit easier for quitters. There are side effects, though, including throat and mouth irritation.

The most important thing to keep in mind is that no matter which stop smoking aids a person uses, they are only effective when the person is committed to quitting. Their effectiveness is determined by how dedicated a person is to stopping smoking. The only true way a smoker will be able to stop smoking is their own inner drive and motivation. While aids like patches, pills, gum, and inhalers that contain nicotine can help people quit, nothing will help a smoker stop for good except for their desire to stop smoking.

Quit Smoking for Your Health

Tobacco secession is a challenge facing many people today. Often people try to quit many times and for many different reasons. Some are quitting because they have been recently diagnosed with a health condition such as diabetes or heart problems. Others simply want to be healthier and avoid potential health problems such as Lung Caner and COPD. There is always a reason to quit, and BBC News just added one more, dental problems.

Across Europe, dentists conducted a research study to find out why so many patients were rejecting dental devices and procedures. They discovered smoking was the common link. BBC News reported the findings of the study, not only does smoking cause bad breath and teeth discoloration, but many other dental problems such as oral cancer, receding gums which leave the roots exposed, the diminished ability of taste buds and finally the rejection of dental devices and procedures.

People who are missing teeth or have lost a tooth due to an accident rely heavily on dental devices such as dentures and implants to improve their oral health. Implants are a new alternative to dentures of the past. Implants work similar to dentures, as they provide a false tooth to replace a missing one. They are used in people who have lost individual teeth, or to create a bridge and for better support to older dentures. Implants work by functioning as the “root” of the tooth because they are made from titanium and are implanted in the jaw. They are coated with a substance called hydroxyapatite which acts as the same chemical makeup of our own bones making the implants more effective than dentures.

It is important for the dentist to be sure the patient is right for implants before performing the procedure. The biggest problem with implant rejection is smoking and other diseases such as diabetes which both affect the amount of blood that reaches the implant. The BBC study reported that is a patient stopped smoking before and for eight weeks after receiving the implant, it would greatly increase the odds of it being effective.

Implant rejection is not the only problem tobacco users face when it comes to dental care. Other procedures which are effected by smoking can be something as simple as a filling, teeth removals, and gum disease. Antibiotics and topical treatments can also become useless because of smoking which can lead to more serious problems before, during and after dental procedures.

Bad breath and teeth discoloration are fairly minor problems resulting from smoking, however these minor problems can turn more serious quickly. According to a study done by the American Dental Association, 32% of smokers needed to have a filling replaced, 10.1% needed a tooth extraction and 22.5% needed a major dental cleaning because of periodontal disease (a result of impaired blood flow). Smoking can also be a factor in the loss of jaw bone, gum disease leading to tooth loss, and increased plaque and tartar build up. The American Dental Association, also reported that 97.5% of patients who quite using tobacco, showed an almost complete reduction of mouth lesions (leukoplakia potentially cancerous mouth lesions) in just six weeks of quitting.

Tobacco secession is the only way to combat not only dental problems but other health problems. Quitting is never easy and a challenge every smoker fears, however almost every smoker fears cancer too and quitting won’t kill, but cancer will.

There are many ways available to quit smoking. Some patients choose to try prescription treatments such as Zyban or Wellbutrin which can help curb cravings. Others try over the counter treatments such as the nicotine patch or gum. Other nontraditional treatments include hypnosis, acupuncture and herbal remedies. Those who are interesting in quitting should speak with their dentist of physician to develop a plan and find out what works best for the patient. Since each person is different, each individual plan will be different. Some people use a combination of treatments to quit. It is important to remember quitting is never easy but the health risks are just too high to not quit now.

Weight Reduction… A Heavy Issue

You may be asking yourself “Why aren’t traditional diets - even nontraditional diets - working for me? Why can’t I keep the weight off once I lose it?” Through my experience as a certified hypnotherapist, I have found that the main reason why the diets have not helped you to create permanent weight loss changes is because you have not made a lifestyle change. Ok, so maybe you already understand that. Let me explain further. If a lifestyle change has not been made then your behaviors have not changed and if behaviors have not changed then your thoughts have not changed. If your thoughts have not changed then your perceptions and beliefs have not changed. Those perceptions and beliefs, I speak of, include beliefs about yourself, your body image, your self worth, and also the beliefs and perceptions about your relationship with food. The beliefs and perceptions related to the behaviors that are keeping you heavy can also be connected to a number of other issues: stress, anxiety, how you react to people, places and events around you, fears and phobias. Many of your perceptions/beliefs regarding these issues and others need to be changed on the fundamental level to create the behavioral changes necessary to eliminate the excess body fat.

Certainly, if what you have been doing isn’t working for you then it is time to change what you are doing. If you do what you’ve always done you will get what you’ve always got. That is exactly what happens when behaviors haven’t been changed on the fundamental perceptual and belief level. Through hypnosis anyone can make changes in their subconscious perceptions and beliefs. As a result, changes will take place in the thought process as well. Why do this? Because if you think what you’ve always thought then you get what you’ve always got. Thoughts precede behaviors.

Hypnosis is a state of altered consciousness, similar to daydreaming. For the purposes of hypnotherapy it is used as a process that crosses the critical, analytical, judgement part of the conscious mind in order to access the powerful subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is the part of the mind where your long-term memories are stored, hence, where “perception and belief programming” is stored.

It is estimated that 75% of our beliefs about ourselves have been imprinted into our subconscious by the age of 7. Therefore, the majority of our personality is determined by the time we are 7. (That puts a whole new twist to “acting like a child” doesn’t it.) This knowledge is useful for hypnosis age regression. In a hypnotic state an individual can mentally journey back into their past safely and objectively and look at the framework of beliefs that were established at a young age and then move forward bit by bit to review what other beliefs were established based on the original beliefs.

Imagination is the “language” of the subconscious mind. It is very much like the mind of a young child. It creates through imagination and believes what it hears. The subconscious mind takes in whatever it has been given and the conscious mind acts upon it. As W. Clement Stone said ” What the mind can conceive the mind can achieve.” The subconscious mind unlike the conscious mind will accept what it hears and if it has been fed negative information, it absorbs it as fact. If you have been thinking of yourself as fat and that is mainly what you focus on then that is exactly what you experience in life. Therefore, you can understand that what you are feeding your mind is as important as what you feed your body. In hypnotherapy, the hypnotherapist presents positive suggestions to your subconscious mind. Those positive suggestions are what you want for you, not what the hypnotherapist wants for you. We work together to clarify what it is that you want for yourself and we put that in the most positive language possible and feed it to your subconscious mind. Once that new information is in place in the long-term memory of the subconscious, your conscious mind can begin to act upon it. Ultimately you will then act in the new way that is in balance with your conscious desires.
