Practicing the art of graciousness is powerful in your life. Focusing on the things you have keeps your mind off of what you don’t have in your life. When things go wrong, it’s hard to stay focused on those things. But, you can still live graciously.

Why is a Gracious Attitude Important?

Gratitude changes your perspective on the life that you’ve been given. When you have gratitude in your life you:

See other people in a different light. Instead of counting their faults, you see mistakes as possible blessings. Instead of wasting time on what you don’t have, you formulate a plan to use what you do have to move forward.

Look at people with new eyes. People are seen for whom they are and not the sum total of their possessions or their character traits. Living in harmony with others fosters a happy fulfilled life.

Forget about judging others. We all have faults and make mistakes from time to time. Acknowledging that fact helps other people to put their faults in perspective and play to their strengths.

Feel merciful towards others who are not in their best place or have not reached a place where they can look at the world from a place of gratitude.

Look at what you do have and be grateful. Concentrating on the positives in your life attract more positive energies. How is that? Whatever you cultivate in your life will begin to grow. If you want a good life, change your focus.

How Do You Attain Gratitude Abundance?

Always know what you are grateful for in life. If you want, make a list. Each day, read the list and add more to it as you feel the need. Some of your blessings that you may easily overlook: breathing each day, having food at every meal, and the good people in your life. Blessings are all around us if we choose to see them. Learning to recognize your blessings renews your hope in life and your role in it.

Practice gratefulness. You won’t become an expert overnight but with practice you will see a difference in your attitude and your life. Instead of going to sleep feeling weighed down, you can use that abundance of gratitude you have developed to sleep well and wake up unencumbered by worry.

Find ways to integrate gratitude each day. Develop rituals that usher in gracious feelings within you. It could be as simple as journaling, wearing special gratitude jewelry, getting weekly pampering, or making time for family and friends. Whatever you choose, make it a positive experience.

Help others. There’s little which is more profound and positive than to offer help to others. Something as simple as paying a toll for the person behind you, holding a door, and larger things like volunteering at the homeless shelter all help you to feel not only good about yourself but good about the world.

Clear away those things which are not important to you. Finally, to invite more gratitude into your life consider removing those things which do not make you feel good. Eliminate those things which make you feel negative about life and which detract from your life.

Gratitude abundance is waiting for you to reach out and embrace it. The choice is yours, invite it in and change your life.

We change our opinion of ourselves constantly, both positively and negatively. Self esteem can be measured on a daily basis as to whether we are going through periods of positivity or negativity. The aim of our lives is to build more positive than negative events, so our self esteem is kept at consistently high l

Family forms a large part of self esteem. When we feel loved and valued by family, whether that be parents, siblings or partners we carry out our lives with that feeling of love inside us and tend to perform better in life. It is also more consistent. We are able to take lifes inevitable knocks and failures when we have a good self belief inside of us which is gained from a young age. This is why it is often said a stable family life gives people a better future.

If you are unfortunate enough to have had a tougher upbringing you may be more prone to swings in how you feel about yourself, because those challenging times can make you more fragile when it comes to how you feel about yourself. People with low self esteem are more likely to move into crime or rebellious behaviour. At moments where you feel angry you have felt a deep sense of anger at the world. If you feel you are worthy and respected, this sense of injustice is replaced by ambition and drive to achieve more.

To increase our self esteem we should focus on what areas of our life we are particularly successful in. For instance, if you are a respected footballer, this may be the area of life you focus on when you need to feel better or you need a quick injection of confidence. Do not fall into the trap of not valuing what you do well, simply use it regardless of what it is to feel better and increase your self esteem. Then you can try new things and hopefully find a talent you never knew existed.

In business, self esteem is often exuded in amazing quantities by individuals with drive and ambition. This level of self esteem is often not genuine because there is little these people can point to in order to justify these high levels of confidence. Confidence is not the same as self esteem, because the confidence is something that can be faked. Whilst you can cover up your levels of self esteem, deep within you there will be a knowledge of your real level of self worth.

In young people self esteem fluctuates wildly during their teenage years. Self worth and self respect can be a very complicated issue for these young people. Young girls in particular are often plagued with doubt about themselves, and the opinion which other people hold about themselves. One of their parents biggest challenges is that they must work out if the exterior presentation of their children is a honest representation of what they feel inside.

Self esteem is complicated because you can feel successful and confident about one area of your life whilst totally at sea in other. What is important is that you focus your attention on staying positive and working on those areas that need attention, so you are always moving forward and not allowing the negative feelings to take over and cause unhappiness to take a hold of you. Always remember that you ultimately have a choice about what you feel and what you think about.

We are basically trying to find you levels of confidence and self worth that allows you to feel happier and better. Lifes challenges and negative events are inevitable but how you handle it is your choice. Reaching your potential demands a good level of self esteem, belief, drive and ambition. There is no room for self doubt. Concentrating on building self esteem is not an empty exercise. It may be the first step in what turns out to be a path of success and achievement for you.

The sky is the limit. How wild can your imagination get?

Imagine.

There is something inside of you stopping you dead in your tracks. Find it, fix it, go free!

You had no choice. Self-improvement is for monks and saints, right? The whole system is against you, so relax. Everything around us is keyed to keeping us as part of the herd.

I know what you are going through.

Our spirit feels the pain. Our bodies do too. We are tired, broke and in despair. Who can tell how stress affects our health?

You can′t go to the bookstore without stopping at the bulging shelves in the self-help department. You’ve searched high and low for the answer, the magic formula.

Something inside of you is screaming to find the answer. Why have things turned out as poorly as they have?

Nobody has told you. Somewhere inside of you the seed has germinated and grown. Greatness is your birthright.

The pain is deep and unrelenting. It ruled me for years.

Take heart. The answer is right in front of you. Never before in the history of man has the possibility of wealth and happiness been within the easy grasp of so many.

Breathe deeply. Find a quiet place in your mind and try to stay there. Unwind.

There is a way out of this mess that society and life have gotten you into. There is no magic involved or great complexity. You already have the basics of what you need. All that is lacking is BASIC SELF-IMPROVEMENT.

Let’s blow away some of the dust that is making it hard for you to see. Incredible things can be done with those three words.

All the info you need is all around you. There is too much in fact so you want to increase how fast you can read as much as possible.

A keen mind in a healthy body is not just a cute saying. It is your benchmark for happiness. Also, keep a sharp eye out for the symptoms of stress. Catch them early and find out what to do about them. They are killers.

You will also want to compliment your keen mind by turning it into a “sticky tape” for data. There are many easy and fun ways to learn to turn your magnificent brain into a massive and orderly data bank.

In 1900, a patent officer quit because he believed there was nothing else new that could be discovered. Believe that mankind has barely scratched the surface of what is possible. Go out and corner yourself a piece of the future.

The other day, I went into the pantry to find a fly swatter. Couldn′t find it. Finally, my wife had to come and get it. I had been looking right at it and had not seen it. Sound familiar?

If my consciousness can filter out fly swatters, what could it be missing at this moment? What new avenues to explore, what opportunities and what great relationships?

There are incredible ways of increasing your imagination and creativity. Pursue these forms of self-improvement passionately.

Your body is the vehicle you will use to explore and prosper and be joyful in. There are many, fun, easy ways to get fit. The benefits are many.

So, we’ve developed our minds, our memories and our bodies. Our next goal is to learn to control our time effectively. Prosperity locked in flypaper of scheduling is useless.

Self-improvement never ends. Learning time management will not only propel you on rockets of efficiency, but it will lay the groundwork for you to build a balanced life full of pleasure, abundance and happiness.

Let your mind soar.

Learn to absorb massive amounts of information. Set a goal of finding the resources to increase your memory and to unleash the imagination that has lain dormant for so long.

Let yourself decide the level of fitness you want to enjoy, not Madison Avenue. You decide how stress affects your overall health. Learn to schedule your life so that fun is the number one priority.

A life full of abundance and health is so much more enjoyable when there are more hours of the day than things to do. Learn to be stingy with work and generous with your time. Let self-improvement be a life long joy for you. Letting yourself decline is how stress affects your overall health.
