Women love using makeup to cover some unwanted blemishes and imperfections that can be seen clearly by naked eyes. They love using makeup to look prettier and eventually be more confident in showing their face to anyone. However, what these most women failed to realize is that use of makeup can destroy their face, making it unhealthy full of bacteria, acne, and other infections. But of course it’s still possible for these women to have a healthy skin despite use of makeup. They just have to educate themselves with some tips on safe makeup use like the ones we have below.

Safe Makeup Use Tips

Washing of Hands/Fingers

If you apply makeup barely with your fingers, be sure your hands/fingers are always clean. Be aware that your fingers produce natural oils that can eventually create breakouts and other skin inflictions. Not to mention that they too have contact with germs very often. Thus, it’s best to always wash your hands/fingers before grabbing your makeup.

Washing of Face

It’s a good habit to wash your face at night or in the morning before you put on makeup. Doing so will keep you away from danger of breakouts, black heads, and blocked and expanding pores. You must be aware that not washing your face before you put on your makeup may cause you a lot of unwanted skin problems. Nonetheless, if your face is dirty and you immediately put on your makeup most likely dirt inside your pores will be trapped and eventually during the day will be covered by more dirt and oil.

Keeping Your Makeup Safe

Be sure that you will always be using a clean makeup. Thus, it’s important that you keep your makeup, particularly the brushes you use in safe place away from some possible sources of dirt and germs. The more your brushes or other makeup products are exposed to dirt and germs, the greater the possibility you will have skin problems later because you will actually be using them.

Using Own Makeup

Always use your own makeup. Never borrow makeup from your friend and never lend your makeup to any friend as well. Sharing makeup with a friend is not a good idea. Let’s say even though your friend looks clean and is hygienic, still you don’t know if she has bacteria and germs underneath her pores. Always think of the consequences.

It is an important part of a woman′s life which is almost like an important component of daily routine for other people. There are times that women ornament themselves in a much better manner during some special occasion like the wedding and parties and while there is no denying the importance of makeup, you should also remember to remove makeup in a safe way to keep your skin soft, supple and healthy.

It is necessary to remove makeup before going to bed so that your skin does not lose its natural charm. However, removing makeup is an art too and you need to follow some basic tips for it. Usually women indulge in a lot of eye makeup for that smoky, bold and captivating eye look. However, removing eye makeup is not as simple as it seem.

Think Mascaras are hard to remove? Then consider using Baby shampoo because unlike other removers which mascara usually resist, it is effective. Extra virgin olive oil is also helpful. Apply few drops on a cotton ball and softly massage the eye region to let go off waterproof mascaras. Never use harsh remover or solutions as most of them can dry out your skin. Instead go in for mild makeup removers and there are facial cleansers according to skin types. Baby oil is an effective way of removing all kinds of makeup in a safe and healthy way and its very easy to do.

Rule of the thumb: never go to bed with your makeup on as that can hamper your skins quality, softness and health eventually making you look older than your age. Others claim that it made their skin rough and dull mainly due to the remnants of the chemicals that come with applying makeup. Scary isn′t it?

The concept of using a laser in order to remove hair has been popular for the past two decades. You may not be aware that there are several different types of laser hair removal that people are taking advantage of. They offer a fast and painless way to remove unwanted hair for both men and women. The process lasts longer and it isn’t painful like electrolysis or waxing. Laser hair removal is considered to be a permanent solution to unwanted hair instead of a temporary one like the alternatives.

With the process of laser hair removal small amounts of radiation are administered to the area with a beam of heated light. This results in the hair follicles being damaged to the point where they can no longer allow new hair to grow. Occasionally a few hairs do come back but they are after very few, thin, and very light so they won’t be as obvious as they were prior to the laser hair removal.

The first laser hair removal system was called Nd:YAG - while others existed this was the first one approved for use by the FDA. This particular process required the individual to have the area waxed first, which is quite painful. Next a heated lotion was applied to the hair follicles so that they would be damaged. The skin around the area was not harmed.

For individuals with very light skin the Ruby Laser is the best option. It can also be use at low levels for those with darker skin with out causing damage to the pigment. This is a painless type of laser for hair removal. It is common used to remove small amounts of hair.

For larger patches of hair the Alexandrite Laser is recommended. It can is able to penetrate the hairs that are very coarse as well. This is the most common type of laser treatment used on men. The entire back can be cleared of hair in 45 minutes or less. Some technicians rely on the Diode Laser because it is the least expensive one and it can be used on various types of skin.

The newest type of laser hair removal equipment on the market is the Cool Glide. This is a very expensive piece of equipment as well. It has been known to effectively treat even dark skin without any time of damage. The tip of it is refrigerated so that it offers a cool touch as the work is being done. This is also safer than lasers that use heat to harm the hair follicles because they could damage the skin.

When “Natural” Skin Care Products Can Be Bad For You

Just like many other consumers, you probably prefer natural beauty products and natural skin care products because you’re concerned that many synthetic chemicals in creams and lotions can harm your skin or affect your overall health. But did you know that sometimes even so-called natural skin care products can have a negative effect?

Why Your “Natural″ Face Cream or Lotion Can Be Bad for You

This has happened time and again to many people: they buy a beauty skin care product that’s supposed to be formulated especially for sensitive skin, yet find themselves breaking out in rashes or suffering from skin redness after applying it.

Why does that happen, when the eye cream or lotion contains natural ingredients that are supposed to heal — not harm — your skin? Here are two of the reasons why:

Reason #1: It could be that you are allergic to some natural substances. Take tea tree oil, for instance. There’s no doubt that it has numerous benefits for your skin: it helps wounds heal faster and is used in many acne treatment products. However, it can also cause redness and irritation in people with sensitive skin.

Reason #2: The healthy skin benefits of a natural ingredient seem to be cancelled out by other ingredients in the product. For example, there’s one very popular skin firming moisturizer you can find in most beauty stores today. It contains seaweed extract, a natural substance which has been proven to rejuvenate skin. BUT at the same time, the product also contains aluminum starch octenylsuccinate, a kind of aluminum salt. This substance has been approved for use in cosmetics, subject to some limitations. However, there also is concern about its neurotoxic effect on humans.

How to Find Natural Beauty Products You Can Use Safely

First, look for an anti-aging or skin care product containing natural ingredients that pose the least risk of causing side effects. One such natural ingredient is jojoba oil. Because its chemical composition is very similar to our skin’s natural oils, it can be used safely for all skin types without fear of having an allergic reaction.

Second, make sure the product contains sufficient concentrations of those beneficial ingredients. Many beauty companies deceive consumers in this manner; they do include natural substances in their products, but in amounts that are simply too small to provide any real benefit.

Third, learn which ingredients to avoid in a skin care or beauty product. For your own protection, know why you should not use a face cream or body lotion that contains substances such as perfume or mineral oil. By arming yourself with this knowledge, you are better able to find natural beauty products you won’t have qualms using and recommending to others.

It’s reassuring to know that there’s at least one company out there whose organic beauty and skin care products are suitable for all skin types because they don’t include any harmful chemicals. This company, located in New Zealand, produces skin care treatments that contain only clinically-proven safe, effective, and natural ingredients — and in the right concentrations! Visit http://smooth-silky-skin to learn more about how the substances they use can give you the beautiful and healthy skin you deserve.
