I think it would be safe to assume that you’ve heard untold stories regarding just how difficult it can be to get ripped abs and a good looking six-pack stomach. While some of it may be true, I can assure you, most of what you’ve read is not. To the contrary, getting ripped abs and a six-pack stomach is a lot easier that you think so yes, you can have a stomach equally as good looking to those you see on the cover of books.

Before I even go any further in sharing with you, the method I used in order to get a stomach as flat as a washboard, let me just say that you’d do well to ignore all those ab exercises promoted insistently on the various infomercials. And, while I′m on the subject, all those expensive ab machines such as ab rollers, ab loungers and ab rockers, won’t do much for you either. Oh by the way, just in case you’re wandering, my name is Shea Robins.

Trust me, no matter how much time you spend on a bench or working out on a machine, great looking abs will still only be a dream. Not only have I tried scores of diets, but I′ve also swallowed practically ever brand of fat burner there is, and I assure you, each and every one of them let me down. In the end, what I found out was:

Don’t believe everything you read regarding so-called health foods. While some manufacturers claim their product produces ripped abs, they don’t, and in fact, they very often result in even more fat

Second. Leave those fancy ab loungers and ab rollers to the people who don’t really need to lose any belly fat in the first place. Even if you spend hours working out with them, the only thing you’ll end up losing, is you hard earned money.

Stick to good old-fashioned natural foods. Not only are they healthy and beneficial for weight loss, but they′re far superior to any of the so-called wonder pills or miracle fat burners, which at the end of the day, don’t work.

Contrary to what many people believe, there are indeed some exercises out there which deliver very impressive results, most of which only require a minimal amount of effort. Remember, exercising hard is not always the best option.

Of course, it’s only understandable if you’re feeling all disheartened with regards to your ongoing efforts, never producing the desired results. I know because I was once in your shoes as well, and for longer than I care to remember but the good news is, in the end I found a real working system that does get results. Not only is it a unique method, but it’s also 100% natural.

Well, there you have it; the truth about abs and getting your body into the shape you’ve always been dreaming of, is there for you to take advantage of. As you already know, what I′ve written here is based on my own personal experience rather than being some shrewd marketing ploy.

What you’ve just been reading is an account of my own long and difficult quest for a flat stomach and a good looking six-pack, and as you’ve more than likely already guessed, I didn’t have to kill myself getting them in the end. If you’re reading this article, the chances are you’re craving to have ripped abs and a flat six-pack stomach, just like those sexy women and well built guys you see on magazine covers and TV commercials. Well, I′m going to go right ahead and dispel many of the myths surrounding six-packs because most of what you’ve heard regarding ripped abs is simply not true.

If you’re serious about getting ripped abs and a six-pack tummy, then I′d love to share my story with you. First of all, don’t pay any attention to the numerous ab exercise programs you see on the infomercials. Additionally, you should think twice before spending your cash on ab rollers, ab rockers, or any other advertised ab machine because they hardly produce any noticeable results.

Having spent I don’t know how much money on Fat Burners, and never seeing any results, I turned to the bench and a few machines in desperation but once again, I was left disheartened and disappointed. Not even diets produced any noticeable results, which is why I want to share what I know, and believe me, I learned the hard way:

Junk food won’t build muscle

You’re probably tired of hearing this, but it never hurts to repeat an important concept. If you’re serious about building large amounts of muscle, you need to increase your calories in order to give the body the necessary raw materials.

This simple formula is that you have to take in more calories than your body is currently using. If not, your body simply doesn’t have the resources to add to your muscle mass.

Having said that, not just any calories will do. Don’t think you can eat whatever you want and still gain large amounts of muscle. Unfortunately, you’ll have to be more selective in your nutritional choices and may even have to give up some of your favorite foods.

I love fast food restaurants, especially McDonald’s. But I have to be honest and state that this is not the healthiest food you could be eating. It depends on what exactly you eat why you’re there, but for the most part fast food meals are pretty much junk food.

You have probably heard of the dangers of hydrogenated oils, or Trans fats. Well, these won’t help you build muscle at all, and over time they actually increase your chances of heart disease. Sure, you can probably get away with a little bit, but you want to be careful. You want to be healthy and you’re also trying to build muscle, so treat yourself like a world class athlete.

Sugar is another dangerous food for overall health and for muscle building. Why? Well, your body can only use so much at a time, and it can only store a small amount in the liver and the muscles. The third and most undesirable option is to convert the excess sugar into more body fat!

When you eat large amounts of sugar, the third outcome is inevitable. This is because your body cannot store very much glucose at one time, and you’re unlikely to burn it all off if you are using high amounts of sugar.

If you want to maximize your muscle gaining efforts, stick to whole nutritious foods like lean protein, whole grains, fruits, and vegetables. Stay away from the junk food, and you’ll be doing your muscles a favor.

When it comes to fitness and weight loss, one of the most difficult things to do is eat so you lose fat without shedding muscle. There are a few things you can do to help make this possible.

Keep On Eating

Believe it or not, it’s all about increasing the amount of food you’re eating, not decreasing it. It’s not about taking in more calories, but rather providing your body with the protein it needs at the proper times.

When you go for a long period of time, your body kind of freaks out. The next time you eat, your body will think that meals are going to come few and far between, so it will store whatever it can from that meal as fat.

It’s extremely important to keep your blood sugar levels .. well, level. When they fluctuate up and down, it’s nearly impossible to lose fat. When you go for an extended amount of time without food, your blood sugar level drops dramatically.

Eating a giant meal (even a healthy one) will put a huge strain on your body and cause it to rush through the digestion process. When your body isn’t running as efficiently, it isn’t going to get everything it should out of each meal. This will cause your body to crave more food sooner than you should. I suggest you eat every 2 to 4 hours.

Make It Clean

When you eat processed simple carbohydrates you cause a huge jump in your bodies insulin levels. Try to avoid foods made with white flour and sugar. Instead eat proteins that are very lean and complex carbohydrates from fresh fruits and vegetables.

Break Off the Love Affair with Sugar.

Sugar is everywhere! It’s in our home and in our supermarkets. Sometimes it’s in plain site but other times it’s hidden with other names we don’t always recognize: Glucose, lactose, maltose, fructose, and sucrose. Some sugars are even harder to find and go by the name sorbitol, xylitol, mannitol, and malitol.

Drink more water

You’re probably sick of hearing about water, but it really is God’s perfect thirst quencher. I know the people at Gatorade don’t like to hear that, but water does a great job. It will also help build muscle and burn fat. If you’re drinking at least 8 glasses of water per day, you’re doing a lot to help your body run more efficiently. This will result in better health and a leaner body.

Be Pro Protein

Get plenty of lean protein from chicken, fish, and lean beef every day. It can be hard to eat enough through out the day so you can add peanut butter, and use protein supplements if needed. By adding plenty of protein, you are keeping your body from using its own muscle for energy and allowing you metabolism to burn at a higher rate.

Carbohydrate Rotations

You can control and adjust your insulin levels by keeping your carb content low for a couple of days at a time. Then boost them back up again to keep your body from going too far in the opposite direction. This will help accelerate your fat loss and not cause you to go carb crazy. If you’re going just 2 days without, you can push through and make it. It’s not like when you go on an extremely low carb diet for weeks on end.

Through carbohydrate rations and decreased overall carb intake you will push your body into massive fat burning mode. Watching your protein intake and intervals will make sure you don’t lose your precious muscle tissues.

Likewise, you’d be doing yourself a favor if you ignore all those infomercials which promote a variety of ab exercises.

However, I have good news for you because after much trial and error, I discovered a method that does let you burn fat and get those ripped abs you’ve always dreamed about.
