We change our opinion of ourselves constantly, both positively and negatively. Self esteem can be measured on a daily basis as to whether we are going through periods of positivity or negativity. The aim of our lives is to build more positive than negative events, so our self esteem is kept at consistently high l

Family forms a large part of self esteem. When we feel loved and valued by family, whether that be parents, siblings or partners we carry out our lives with that feeling of love inside us and tend to perform better in life. It is also more consistent. We are able to take lifes inevitable knocks and failures when we have a good self belief inside of us which is gained from a young age. This is why it is often said a stable family life gives people a better future.

If you are unfortunate enough to have had a tougher upbringing you may be more prone to swings in how you feel about yourself, because those challenging times can make you more fragile when it comes to how you feel about yourself. People with low self esteem are more likely to move into crime or rebellious behaviour. At moments where you feel angry you have felt a deep sense of anger at the world. If you feel you are worthy and respected, this sense of injustice is replaced by ambition and drive to achieve more.

To increase our self esteem we should focus on what areas of our life we are particularly successful in. For instance, if you are a respected footballer, this may be the area of life you focus on when you need to feel better or you need a quick injection of confidence. Do not fall into the trap of not valuing what you do well, simply use it regardless of what it is to feel better and increase your self esteem. Then you can try new things and hopefully find a talent you never knew existed.

In business, self esteem is often exuded in amazing quantities by individuals with drive and ambition. This level of self esteem is often not genuine because there is little these people can point to in order to justify these high levels of confidence. Confidence is not the same as self esteem, because the confidence is something that can be faked. Whilst you can cover up your levels of self esteem, deep within you there will be a knowledge of your real level of self worth.

In young people self esteem fluctuates wildly during their teenage years. Self worth and self respect can be a very complicated issue for these young people. Young girls in particular are often plagued with doubt about themselves, and the opinion which other people hold about themselves. One of their parents biggest challenges is that they must work out if the exterior presentation of their children is a honest representation of what they feel inside.

Self esteem is complicated because you can feel successful and confident about one area of your life whilst totally at sea in other. What is important is that you focus your attention on staying positive and working on those areas that need attention, so you are always moving forward and not allowing the negative feelings to take over and cause unhappiness to take a hold of you. Always remember that you ultimately have a choice about what you feel and what you think about.

We are basically trying to find you levels of confidence and self worth that allows you to feel happier and better. Lifes challenges and negative events are inevitable but how you handle it is your choice. Reaching your potential demands a good level of self esteem, belief, drive and ambition. There is no room for self doubt. Concentrating on building self esteem is not an empty exercise. It may be the first step in what turns out to be a path of success and achievement for you.

How to control panic attacks

Panic attacks are very sudden and intense feelings of anxiety and fear that comes over a person with no apparent reason at all. The symptoms of panic attacks are cause by the rush of adrenaline release into the body’s bloodstream. This release of adrenaline is a bodily response intended as a survival mechanism. It prepares the body to face dangerous situations. However, when the body does this excessively, unnecessarily and too frequently, this can result in a negative impact on the psychological and emotional health of a person.

Panic attacks can seemingly come from out of nowhere. You may be doing something very common that you do all the time, such as buying groceries, driving or just taking a walk. Then suddenly you are hit by a panic attack. Your hands start to shake uncontrollably, your breathing becomes shallow and quickens and you feel your heart beating faster and faster.

Slowly there will be thoughts of paranoia; which are feelings of being the center of other people’s negative observation and judgment. Thoughts of worst possible scenarios will start to engulf the mind. The mind will start to believe that the worst things will happen, such as the ceiling collapsing, the elevator breaking down or the plane crashing etc.

There are no specific external triggers for panic attacks. Panic attacks can come over someone no matter when and where. There are no actual ways to completely avoid it. This is why people who are suffering from panic attacks are greatly affected by it and find it difficult to live their daily lives.

The most effective way to stop panic attacks is to face it head on. Don’t fight against the panic attack, instead let it come, befriend it and allow it to run it’s course. In other words, weather the storm of the panic attack. There are 2 reasons why taking this approach is good

First, it is because fear feeds on fear. The more you fight against or try to avoid a panic attack, the more fear you are letting out. And as you do that you are feeding it and making the panic attack even stronger. However if you face it head on, the attack has nothing to feed on and slowly it’s energy will be drained.

When you resist something, it will usually only make things worse. Take the example a roller coaster ride. If you go along with the movement of the roller coaster, it will feel exhilarating. That is why people love to lift up their hands when the roller coaster dives downwards sharply. However, when you try to resist and go against the roller coaster, you will feel even more frightened and tense.

Second, by not resisting a panic attack and facing it head on instead, you will experience and realize that there is actually no danger in the situation at all. However if you continuously resist and run away from a panic attack, you will only escape it until the next time it happens.

When you have fully faced a panic attack and come out of it unharmed, there will be a sense of relief and understanding that it is your illusions of danger that have been creating these panic attacks. You will realize that in reality there isn’t any danger at all. This realization will take away your fear enable you to face future panic attacks with confidence. Having this courage will lead you on the way to conquering panic attacks.

The time being is a nightmare to all investors around the world. World index falls quicker and deeper than anyone ever could imagine. Writing this article in October 2008 we can see that fear and panic are spread even to common people. Is the global finance structure about to collapse? Is this the Doomsday? I will tell you how I think as a Psychic Spiritual Life Coach.

You have to go back to the Depression in 1929 to find something this serious within the global economy. During that dark time in history when fortunes disappeared into nothing, investors killed themselves in desperation.

Now and then, looking back in history, such collapses happen. From a Spiritual point of view, I announce that even the financial system has a soul which breathe and pulsate in its own rhythm, shown as wave patterns in for example stock charts. These historic wave patterns are well studied and researched among scientists.

As a Spiritual Life Coach specialized in the Law Of Attraction, I see today’s global financial situation as a mirror of the way majority of people breathe, in their stressful lives. The breathing in the financial system and the breathing within each and every human being on earth is connected to each other in a common breathing pulse. I venture to say, that the global crisis is directly attracted from the collective breathing in humanity today

In the stressful lives that most people live today, people get difficulty to breath properly. The breathing becomes shallow and short which will eventually lead towards a weakened ability to breathe out. This is also exactly what has happened to the financial structure of the world.

In order to stop this, a crisis is taken place. The underlying meaning is to heal and to re-establish a peaceful breathing pulse within the economy, as well as within each and every human being on earth. The sooner you and everyone else reconnect to a peaceful state of mind, the sooner the global finances will get back to normal again.

If you want to be a part of the global economy healing process, investigate your own breathing and start calm down your own mind by deep and slow breathing. One way to improve your breathing is to practice the following exercise:
While counting to 4 seconds, take a deep breath.
While counting to 12 seconds, hold your breath.
While counting to 8 seconds, breath out fully.
Repeat this exercise at least ten times and do it three times every day.
If you are calm and peaceful, this exercise will be easy to do, if not, you probably need to calm down…

And remember, each and one of us that breathe calm and peaceful will reflect peace and calm back to the global financial breathing pulse.
